If your total budget is 1000.00 this could be the best bow.

Love that you take off the tags and shoot the bows. A lot of reviewers leave the tags on the bow and then ask the viewers to listen to bow and all you hear are tags flipping around after and during the shot

I have the legit and I love it but I’m honestly looking at getting that Escalate . Looks nice and I’m gonna take my man’s word on the bow cause that’s also why I bought my legit lol . Great review as always . You ain’t kidding about this economy either but that’s a whole different conversation lol

Great review. I shoot the Escalate. I feel as though it punches above its weight for the price point. When you are holding it, it definitely feels different than some of the other mid priced bows. Very smooth draw. I do have a nock on riddance stabilizer but there is zero vibration. I also have not had any cable rubbing. I actually prefer the Escalate's grip feel, balance, and draw cycle to the PSE Embark (my brother recently bought the Embark. it is awesome too). Definitely a bow worth looking at if you want a high end mid range bow but don't want to spend 1200+ in a flagship bow but still want some of the flagship goodies.

Great review on a mid grade bow. I would recommend that bow for some one. Starting to get into bow hunting and archery.

I recently got the Whitetail Maxx. I had to do a bunch of stuff to it to get it to tune and reduce felt vibration and noise by half. The bow came from the factory with the cams shimmed incorrectly, so I had to figure out the correct shim configuration to get the bow set up properly to shoot bulletholes. The correct shim configuration for my bow was 7/32" (3 shims of the same thickness stacked) on the left side of both cams, with the other shims moved to the right side. This set my arrow at 7/8" perfectly parallel to the riser window, and shooting bulletholes after properly setting up the rest. The 4 string grubs on the string was causing a ton on string vibration and noise. I sliced them off and installed brass speed nocks with shrink tubing (I copied the pattern from my Bowtech RPM 360). This also increased my arrow speed by a few FPS. Originally, the bow was shooting 278 FPS at 27" (measured, but actually set at 26.5 on the mods and stops), and 64# using a 385 grain Easton Axis arrow. After the grub replacement, arrow speed went up to 280 FPS. This bow is shooting a 385 grain arrow faster than my Bowtech Solution SS that's set to 71#, 27" (measured, mods and stops at 26.5") and shooting a 360 grain arrow at 271 FPS, on the Comfort setting. And at a price point of $600, bow-only, the Whitetail Maxx is the best bang for the buck!

Great review per usual. Looking forward to seeing what comes through the backyard next. Any plans for the bowtech SS34, or Athens Elevate? Those two along with the omnia are on my short list. Big fan of your omnia review...I'll be putting VAP TKO's through one of those, around 470 grains. I bet the omnia would have them ripping.

Do you mind sharing what accessories you had on this bow when shooting? I know you mentioned it was kitted out with Trophy Ridge, just curious as to sight, rest and stabilizer you were using in this video? Keep up the great work!

Have you seen the Xpedition Xperience? It’s a great bow that is American made as well as can be bought online. I know you were saying in an earlier review that you’d like to see more companies do direct ship

When do you think a bow hunter should buy a flagship bow? I've been taking deer pretty steady with a diamond

I would say do what u are comfortable and confident with and if u have success stick with it, don’t by in to all the hype, I have friends that still harvest deer with 20 year old Hoyt’s, shoot what makes u smile

@@ansbis I would say set it up with the rest arrows everything u plan to shoot and watch for it, things change from set up to set up, draw length, draw weight, all can have a different affect

Will do, I am going to set it all up and then tape a piece of paper there and see it the string taps it in that spot. Do you think the roller style cable guard from Bear’s higher end bows would bolt up? The bolts are under the sticker in the front… @@BackyardBows
