Haha I do like my customs by KH and feel really lucky not to have them break . But I’ve seen them fail . Mostly handles crack or split . The one you sent me failed ( that’s why I never posted the video ). I would absolutely take KaBar , ESEE , Condor , the list goes on and on over those Khukuris any day . Plus you receive them rather fast . KH takes a while . Like 2 month minimum sometimes 6 in my experience. I’m am pretty much over the KH . They had their run with me . They totally screwed up my first Cowboy C Bop chopper ( remember that )?? But they eventually made it right . Over and above . My absolute favorite chopper . That Bowie is a beast too !! Love it !! I’m satisfied with just those . There are other magnificent knife designers out there that pay more attention to detail and offer better steel and handle material . Like Jed Hornbeak . Most talented knife designer I know . Oh … and Dietmar Pohl haha . What was I thinking!?!? Haha

@@tubes5150 You’re spot on brother. The wait time is one of the main killers for me. I have had 6 custom blades done this year alone and I have never waited more than two weeks. There’s lots of company’s in the USA 🇺🇸 who can put work out faster and better in my experience, stay safe brother and your group of blades from Italy 🇮🇹 is awesome. @@tubes5150 I had two Hibbens(UC) snap in half, my Ontarios chip, a Condor edge fold over and my KHHI just destroyed the edge of a KA-BAR. Just going by personal experience.

Damn !! Knives are not supposed to break !! What the hell are you doing !?!?? So I shot a video but decided not to post . The War Machine is absolutely not compatible nor comparable to the world famous Kabar . Lots of imperfections. First - it does look like someone made it in their basement. The handle is not exactly comfortable. I used for 10 minutes just chopping away at a branch and I got blisters on my lower palm . I should of checked the edge prior to using . The blade was really dull . It would not cut paper . So after 10 minutes of chopping , I go to check the edge , and there are a few dings and Dangs on the edge . Then - just standing there - one of the handles came apart . Had to be glued again . I was compare with my Kabar D2 Extreme and the D2 just absolutely demolished it . I felt bad about the fail so just cleaned it up and put away with the others . Also … when someone orders a new knife , that is custom made , they kind of want it quickly. Not 2 to 4 months like the KH . There are more out there that will make you a better - prettier knife , and you will receive ASAP !

I have medium size hands . You can’t go wrong with the M7 or the Fox 140 ( if you can find ). Ever check out the ESEE Junglas 2 ????? I had the Original Junglas in my hands and then the Junglas 2 …. I use it often and wanted more comfort so I went with Junglas 2 . I did a vid on it I believe. It’s a beast !!! But not overly big . Good luck and Happy Holidays 🤠

Yes I do . But I would honestly try to avoid that and use a hatchet instead haha . But if you were in a survival situation and all you had on you was the Maserin , it would definitely do the job . I purchased , shot 1 or 2 videos and have used out in the field only once or twice . I am more of a collector than anything but I gotta tell you …. The Lionsteel is a keeper !! I could sell off my entire collection and only Keep my favorites and the Lionsteel is one that would remain . It’s big - sharp - that Sleipner steel is pretty amazing and just damn sexy !! Even the sheath that came with the blade is pretty badass !! ( I am referring to the M7 Lionsteel by the way ). The Lionsteel T5 I highly recommend as well … such awesome steel !!! Hi .. I’m not sure about the Bark River Bravo 2 knife since I’ve never used . I know they are not easy to find haha . I have medium sized hands and the Fox fit and feels fine . I love this knife !! You get so much blade !! A beautiful beast !! Not sure if it’s too big for you though . It’s not heavy or anything . I really don’t know if it is too big for you or not . Good luck !!

I do hope to add the Doberman to the collection one of these days … The Fox TARANIS is almost the same knife . Same size … same steel … same handle material … same Italian made … Just a whole lot cheaper haha 😂. I wonder why ?????? Anyway it still needs to be added to the collection one of these days . Yeah I’m not exactly a big fan of the Fox 140 sheath …. It’s fine . The one thing that came to mind was just how much more money the knife would be had they used say Kydex . Probably be in the $359 mark . Still worth it !! The M7 is just plain awesome . Feels really good in hand . They all do really . That Fox 140 is probably the best out of this bunch . That handle is really neat ( yute Micarta ). Let me know what you decide on . Love hearing others thoughts and opinions . Thanks for watching 🤠

Thanks so much for watching . You are absolutely right !! Heck I’ve been collecting knives since the 80’s and I still don’t know about the kinds of grinds . Just a little bit . Each and every knife in my rather large collection is meant for specific/ certain tasks . Some are for beauty alone . It all depends on the collector I guess . You do ( in most cases ) get what ya pay for . My absolute favorite most reasonable priced knives are by BUCK ( the older ones 110 - 119 - 120 - 124 ). Can’t go wrong !! They are The Beatles of Blades haha .

Oh yes . Most definitely still have the M7 . Beautiful beast ❤️ Unfortunately it does not get used often due to soooo many others in my collection. But if I had to sell off the collection, that would be one I would definitely keep .

Haha He is my daughters pooch but he is always here . Follows me everywhere!! Including the toilet ! My daughter and her family are all youngsters ( late 20’s ). So when they have their parties , Benji gets a little weird . He don’t like being around all those people ( especially when they are loud and drinking). So I’ll go over to pick him up and bring him here . Get him away from all that . And I don’t have to ask him ….. Nope !! He will run right out the door and into my truck !! He’s my little ball and chain haha . And he gets along great with my Yellow Lab / Shepherd Leo . Leo hates knives !!!!!!!!! When I’m outside doing my video thing with a knife , he goes inside the house and waits until it’s over haha . Love these dogs 🐕❤️🤠
