Thank you for another awesome vid and review. Love, love, love, my T5. I really wished I had it while serving in Vietnam. This knife is like not even having a knife in my hand. Out of all my knives, this one is absolutely the best fit. The blade just keeps going on and on and the only thing I have ever done in the year I've had it is once in a while run it across a strop. Everyone should get one and give it a try. It will please all who use it.

Ok first off very nice impressive sheath. Nice looking knife, and a great gift for you brother, JR is an awesome dude. Love the handles, great steel, and great blade shape. Stabbing machine and it flat ripped the tire like tissue paper! Combat knife that can do woods craft. That is an awesome knife brother! Terrific demo Scab and Congratulations on the 6,000! You earned it!

Not sure if your handle is the same as mine but look at the micarta layers. Mine has an insane amount of tightly packed layers. Way more than any other micarta I have seen on any other knife.

The T5 is definatly a great looking knife, handle looks to be amazingly comfortable even for those with larger hands, the edge profile looks great for going through materials and the stock is a good balance between tough and slicey. The sheath looks to be great as well and i like the way the stitching was done. Thanks for the great vid Scab and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

Every time I went down to my house in Italy at the Lago di Garda, I made a short stop at my two favorite "negozio di coltelli", the first one being in Bozen or Bolzano as we Italians say. This shop was full of first class traditional friction folders, gentlemans knives, outdoors cutlery like sets of forks, spoons and knives - and sword canes. The other one was in Malcesine at the Lake Garda, an italian tourist trap, but with wonderful medieval footways, leading to a medieval castle on a rock over the Lake. And a cutlery shop that was specialized on Katanas, Cold Steel and Lion Steel knives. I renember that I have bought my old Cold Steel Tanto Spike there, and that I thought "I have to take more money with me, when we go on holidays, so I am not only able to buy my boys some toys, but also some daddy toys now and then". I loved all the Lion Steel knives that have been displayed in this shop, and watch all the reviews of them ever since. They made quite some progress in their design, making more traditional knives, but with modern ideas and materials. I love Niolox, its a german steel, said to hold an edge as well as D2, but more stable when it comes to chipping, and it is not difficult to sharpen. The niobium content of the steel is building lots of carbides, and the structure comes as fine as in powdermetalurgic steels. I loved their handles a lot, even back then, but the milled micarta handle is the most comfortable handle I ever had in my hand. In Germany the T5 as seen in the video is about € 155,--, give or take. I am thinking, that it is time to collect the money and get me a Lionsteel T5. Last not least: Congratulations to 6.000 subscribers! Molleta is my favorite designer. The handle, especially on the M4, is the best handle I've ever had on any knife I own, no matter if it's a 500$ custom or a factory made knife, Molleta is the best designer easily. If they used steels with a bit more edge stability, and if their blades would be so thick behind the edge, I would easily say that Lionsteel makes the best knives out there! If only TRC, who does perfect, everything that Lionsteel doesn't, could make a colaboration with Molleta, imagine what knife they would come out with!!! TRC maker produce a Molleta design...WET dream!!!

Greek Veteran. TRC are incapable of producing anything. They cant even reply to emails to their website!! I have no problem with my T5s edge stability or cutting ability and most importantly its available to buy. Unlike the Mille Cuori for example.

This is an amazing looking knife and even after all you put it through it still looked so good. It did well in general but even before you said it I noticed how awesome it was doing with anything having to do with stabbing or tip cuts. JR is so generous to not just loan knives to test but to give this extremely thoughtful gift! Such a good person.

I've got the green micarta version of the T5 and bought it because of the one piece handle construction looked so comfortable and different, the sheath is beautifully made, in Italy 🔥 My first really expensive knife was the Molletta Lionsteel integral red aluminum framelock with the nifty hidden clip design where you push the button and the clip pops out plus it's got a removable flipper, they make a great pair. Only problem with the folder it is really thick behind the edge but I just consider it as tactical use. Anyway I haven't got to use the Niolox steel much yet so that's what brought me to your channel and I appreciate the demonstration wanted to see what the steel was all about ✌🏻

I'm really digging this one. Just going off the appearance, it reminds me a lot of the Hen & Rooster HR001 which is one of my favorite fixed blades for hunting. I'm always on the lookout for a good hunting/outdoors knife, so this will definitely be on my list next time I'm contemplating swapping green for steel. Thanks for the video Scab!

Glad the knife lived up to what you wanted. when the knife got here I knew it was going to be yours but wanted to feel it in hand to see how the handle felt and I have to say it was very comfortable so looks like I'll be getting another one and might try the M4 I saw it in M390 which is decent steel also. Ok, now you have me curious about the major announcement. For the money it's really a great deal I think like you said 150.00 for a knife of that quality. I have two of these knives. I absolutely love em. Fantastic size. Most excellent handle. And the Niolox steel being so fine grained takes and holds one of the best, crispest edges ever! Truly a great knife.

I'm definitely also a handle guy, I'm still looking for the knife which has the best handle for me and also of course has other features that I like. The best handle I've held so far is the becker bk16 but I don't like the blade shape of it. The gerber strongarm handle is not good in my opinion. And the becker bk7 handle is little bit too thick for me and also there's no grip at all. Handle is everything.
