I'm glad that Hemlock is competent enough to send fighters to escort, do crew scans and even send multiple waves of scouts, vessels etc. A good villain makes a great episode.

The Die Hard footage stuttered because it was ripped interlaced with the field order reversed. Ripping with that unchecked, or in Progressive, prevents that. Thanks for the video!

This is very minor, but I didn't like how the name of the episode was Flash Strike and they didn't do any striking. In fact, they were constantly on the defensive. Some strike!

About Rampart, I think his imprisonment was actually on the up and up. He was arrested in front of the whole Senate, so he probably had the due process rights you’d see in a democracy. He was serving a sentence of hard labor likely handed down by a court that tried him fairly for his crimes. Considering the infamy of his crime; the highly publicized nature of his arrest, trial and imprisonment; and Palpatine still concerned with how things may look to the Senate when they are aware of an issue, there is no way he’s getting a pardon or commutation of his sentence. This means the Empire has nothing to offer him, and I do believe Rampart understands that. Rampart seemed cowardly in this past episode, but to be fair he was way out of his element and unarmed and with a bunch of guys he didn’t get along with. On the other hand, if there is any sort of negotiation, I think Rampart will be much more in his element due to being a social expert.

Maybe I’m too much of a Darth Vader Stan, but I think he’s going to make an appearance at the end in a Rogue One-esque finale. In an effort to save Omega and possibly the rest of the kids, they’ll put their lives on the line against their formal general, not even knowing who he is; but he knows who they are.
