He should have just shoved pre flop and fold out the equity and win what’s already in the pot. Even though he has him crushed with the AJ and a huge favourite to double up. Should have just shoved to fold out the 30% equity at this point in the tournament to guarantee the pot. A8 still may have called though. But hind sight is 20/20.

If A8h is calling the 6.7 million three bet, it was probably calling a 7.2 million three bet. It was strange that the original raiser allowed the three bet to get away with seeing the flop with less than half a blind in his stack. There’s no situation I can imagine where either player folds post flop.

@TobiasBerben 11 ай бұрын
Yes, easy QQ-fold, because best you can have is a flip. And in this hand just reraises to 6.4 instead of allin with less than 8BB in total ... So bad! Of course Jachtmann has to call the raise and play allin on this flop...

Yes I think he should raise all in (not sure it would have made a difference in this spot), however the payout jump is $200,000. If other stacks get it all in before it comes back round he can fold and earn 200K. He only has 12K in live tournament winings so it is understandable as this is a huge amount of money.

Did he say "in Omaha i would've won the hand already" after he realized they could still chop? In what omaha would he already have won the hand on the turn? Lol A8 would both play so he'd be worse off in omaha no?

This play by Aguilera makes zero sense in position, either jam it , call or fold. There is some fold equity with a shove. Oop this play can work, in position now calling off with no pair no draw? You never wanna be calling your stack off in mtts. Its mtt 101

The dealer should be telling that poker player , that this a only speaking ( English ) table. Even though he's turned around you don't know if he's telling them what he had. The other spanish players would have an advantage then.

Was not that bad of a beat. Not sure why he did not shove preflop. That was his best chance because he was not going to fold no matter the flop anyways.

The commentators mentioned this: if people behind him started going crazy with 4-bets and 5-bets jams, he could still have the option of folding, since there's a decent chance for example that the 4-better gets knocked out (giving Aguilera a big pay jump)

@@stevelibby6852 Well obviously, he'd have been very happy for his opponent to fold and give him the 2.5m chip up at that point. All I said was that losing a hand when you're only 2:1 favorite isn't really much of a bad beat story. That's an 'I put all my chips in with a slightly better hand and it didn't hold up' story.

Well deserved for his little tantrum about being folded while he was clearly not at the table. Also wtf is the reason to leave 2.5 back if he’s going all in on that type board anyway. Night chance villain folds pre going all in b
