Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO very much for your excellent video. I have a 2022 ROGUE, 61 inch, 35 HP unit that I have tried to remove the blades for sharpening and 2 blades came right off with my impact wrench but 1 absolutely won't even budge. I have not tried heat from a propane torch yet but will this morning, 4-10-24, I will give it a try. I have never had trouble like this before on a total of 3 commercial ZTR mowers.

Just a note, you can put a pipe wrench on the top spindle collar and it will hold the spindle tight while breaking loose the blade bolts. Be sure to put anti seize on the bolts before putting the new blades back on.

Thanks for your video. I have never been able to remove my blade farthest from the Shute. I did not disassemble like you did. I just added the heat and my impact pulled it right off.

Had the same issue with my 2022 Maverick. Went to put mulching blades on it and when trying losen the blades the pullies would spin with the bolt do to bolts being stuck. What I did was take a pipe wrench around the top of the pully to hold it in place while applying torque to losen the bolt, worked like a charm. I will note that this was done on a Badboy mower with only 10 hours on it.

I have had my bad boy elite for two years, never sharpened the blades, but am sure they could use a good touch up, yard still looks good after I mow, My mower has the Kawasaki engine, my buddy helped me but we had so much trouble loosening the end cap off the oil drain hose that I have never attempted to talk anything else loose on this mower, However, after using every large wrench we had, we did finally get that end cap off oil drain hose, Told my buddy after that one I was going to have to turn in my red neck master mechanic certificate, as I was no longer qualified, what a pain in the butt, He has never tried removing the blades on his bad boy mower either, told him I am ready to help, I do have a torch,

All of my blades are so damn tight that the pulley spins even though I block the blade… it’s crazy tight! I’m gonna throw the heat to it tomorrow with the torch and see if that works. Thanks for the video

Had to get a 129.00 Bauer electric impact from harbor freight. 1150 ft lbs. Came off easy lol

Pull the blades as soon as you can when you get the mower. And put some never seize on the threads.

There was no Allen screw in any of my spacers.

Having the same problem now! Not sure what they use to torque them
