I have a 2023 revolt. Had the same problem on my platform from day one. Turns out it was a manufacturing problem and the dealer had to change out a bushing in the spring. Had a recall on that part so a free fix. 50+ hours now and no problems whatsoever.

Just received my Revolt 36. Only have one cut on it so far and I love it. The worst thing about it is having to wait a week to run it again!

Pete, thank you for doing these videos you are truly a professional in the business and I have really enjoyed watching them. I own a 54 inch Revolt for residential use and have not had any issues with the foot plate up to this point. Overall I think this is a solid machine that with a bit of refinement could be top notch as I do notice some stragglers from a cut perspective like you mentioned in the video. Thank you Pete, keep up the great content!

That is why I like operator presence in the controls.

I’m going to eventually buy a 48” from badboy…… I really liked the honest review. My dad’s got a commercial grade zero turn with the bigger deck, it survived a pole barn fire and the only thing needing replacement was the plastic gauges and the seat……. Bad boy hooked him up good on those.

This mower is my favorite. Price is right also.

I just bought the revolt 54 and they made a kit that now comes stock I believe for the plate you stand on it’s just 2 big washer plates that make it not go down so far

I was so dead set on a Wright Stander B and bang for the buck, you really can beat the Revolt. I have a Bad Boy Maverick and their decks work best with high lift blades.

I have Revolt 36 and Maverick HD 48. My Revolt platform doesn’t go that low; however I have to jump up and down to get the sensor to trigger for the blades which is annoying so the I feel the platform could be improved on. Prepare to deal with belt issues. Even local dealer (Bad Boy/Scag) says they see a lot of belt issues with Bad Boy. Otherwise, they are great mowers for the price point IMO.

I have this mower and completely agree on the vacuum comment. It seems to lack suction. I’m wondering if high lift blades would cure it…anyone have an opinion?

I have a Great Dane Surfer, I looked at a Bad Boy Revolt today. Does it have any grease zerts or is it like all newer mowers now days with no grease points.

Although your ass was dragging the ground, at least it held your sundrop the whole time!😂

Question my man, I have the Revolt 54 and Revolt 34 to be picked up at my local dealer and i went for them do to the very good pricing along with the reviews. I got the 54" for $8200 and 34" for $5500. Is the platform drop issue and issues your having with the platform a lemon unit or is it happening on all the Revolt 54"? Iv not seen this till your video and it has me a bit concerned. My runner up prior to this unit was more on the other end of pricing and that was the Altoz TSX 61" with AT Trax and AT Deck. Have you had hands on with the Altoz?

There’s definitely something wrong with that platform. Mine actually stays higher in the back and I’m 6’3” 260lbs. I can bounce up and down on mine and it never goes that low.

Does any think the bad boy foot pan is too low?

Ive seen these used on some horrible lawns and the cut quality was outstanding on one pass but high lift blades was used so think this made the difference...The price for what you get is crazy...I got 54" and 34" Revolt for $13800...Every brand has its issues but most downsides seem to have a fix on these "Bad Boys"...

Great video don’t like the mowers at all cut quality is horrible used one on a tall fescue yard and had to triple cut because it was clumping like crazy

The dealer does not know how to paint. That bracket had poor finish...people notice.

The quality of the cut is so bad you had to double cut...but still gets an 8?

As good as it looks, you would think they would have made their platform As good as the machine looks. Beautiful maxhine BUT...

I think your plate has a defect and needs to be replaced. My plate does not do that
