Alright, let's start it up! Welcome to an exhilarating gameplay commentary video of Deceive Inc, featuring the rookie, Squire! Join me as we dive into the thrilling world of espionage and deception in this action-packed multiplayer game.

Hired by Deceive Inc to steal the package, Squire must grab keycards and field upgrades to complete the mission.
For this mission we've chosen the following loadout:
Squire's Weapon 3: Javelin | BS 25, HS 44 | Mag Size 7 | Reload Speed 2.2s | Rate of Fire 1.9shots/s
Squire's Expertise 2: Under Pressure | Instant | CD 20-60s | You gain Amped Up, increasing your movement speed for 10s, and increased reload speed
Squire's Passive 3: Aegis Cover | Whenever Squire loses cover he will keep the cover shield slightly longer, preventing headshots. The cover shield also grants him damage reduction.
Along with the following Gadgets:
GooPod: Places a device that creates goo slowing everyone in the area by 30%. Device can be destroyed. Cooldown: 30s or 0s on pickup.
Scrambler: Disables all other gadgets within 15m while activated. Electronic devices within the range cannot be hacked while its active. Can be placed down. Cooldown: 30s on destruction or 0s on pickup.

The one time I've seen the signal scrambler be useful is one of your previous games where the squire used it to block your bouncepad after using his own so you couldn't follow. Shame they died 3 seconds after

yeah that's kinda the playerbase for ya. It would help if the devs promoted this type of gameplay but people forget that this game can and should be a battle of attrition and espionage

We've been experimenting with using it in Trios, against teams with players we know run shield. It's been moderately successful, because it only takes 1/3rd of your damage away for the time to throw it, rather than all of it the way it does in solos.

As someone who runs signal scrambler, I can safely answer your question of "does it work in my pocket"...the answer is no. it will work when it's in your hand or when you drop it :)

That Amber you were trailing at 1:30 or so was torally a player. Her movements were all wobbly and she beat you to the vault terminal room. I was like "Glitch!!!! She's right there!!!"

I feel like the bubbles of goo have a green aura that spreads further than the effect and that’s what usually clips through doors and walls

I’d imagine the Scrambler is best when placed in strategic places where it denies jump-pad uses. Like do the ‘Call B then Call A’ strat in Diamond Spire but then leave the Scrambler right in front of A (So anyone following the shortcut would have their jumppad break before landing). Or place it in the ‘Hard Sell’ vault to prevent Blue/Purple door skips. Or use it like that one Larson a few games ago who could’ve escaped the battle by jump-pad-ing away, but preventing you from following. Idk… I admit those are fringe cases… lol Edit: Does anyone happen to know how the Scrambler interacts with the Tracking-Drone? I could see some multiplayer uses for the scrambler if it can destroy drones without breaking cover.

What's everyone's ideas on giving the signal scrambler a buff/rework? Imagine if it also neutralised everyone in the radius, or turned off your most valuable chip. Maybe even block or clear trace effects?

I'm not sure that'd be good overall.These sorts of 'prison' or "NO" effects tend to be unfun to play against, imagine being Larcin but everyone was Hans

From experience, no the scrambler doesn’t work when you put it in your pockets even if it’s on.

I don't know exactly, but it *shouldn't* stack. I know that having Amp'd Up twice on a character doesn't make you faster than 1 Amp'd Up so I'd expect it to work the same, but I've never actually tested

Do you know why I can't find a match when I want to play trios with friends?

I don't really play Trios, but I believe it has some times when theres just not enough people in that queue to make a match, so make sure you're on Worldwide matchmaking and turn Crossplay On (if you're on a console) may help if you haven't tried that already.

Gadgets are really a personal preference and playstyle enhancer type thing. But probably Shield and one of: Bounce Mat, Spyglass or Hack Trap
