I still don’t get how erasing himself from the Eggnet guarantees he’s a free octopus. It’s a catalogue at best, Eggman won’t necessarily forget about him, I think?

@@Doze1202Presumably it deletes his biological information along with it, which is the main thing Eggman holds above Mimic as a weakness. ("There's no shape you could take that would hide you from Metal Sonic.") But true, we don't actually know for sure at this point in the story.

Starline erased everything, likely including any data the doctor was using to track him, like facial recognition and last known whereabouts. Eggman would have to start the search all over again. They think he would eventually give up out of frustration. Then again, they forget- Eggman is VINDICTIVE when he wants to be.

@@Doze1202 Yeah but would you rather have the genius scientist who probably views you as a low priority have all the info he would need to snatch you up oooor have it all be erased Eggman is vindictive and prideful, but Mimic is overall small potatoes in the end. He tends to focus on bigger and better things. With no data on Mimic and nothing recent to spite him against Mimic, Mimic can grant himself safety for a long while

This was always so interesting to me cuz Zavok legitimately acted more as a leader here. Starline was obviously gonna betray everyone but I feel Zavok could actually keep a group like this in order. If you’re kind to him and loyal(and useful), he’ll keep you around

This keeps on getting crazier by the minute and I LOVE IT. The way how Mimic found out Starline’s true intentions has happened a lot sooner than I thought and the way how each of them has the siphoned abilities of Team Sonic was just as insane as well. Zavok and Tumble using raw strength as Knuckles, Mimic having the gift of flight like Tails and last, but not least, Rough having the need for speed and realizes why Sonic is always happy every time he runs. It seems that they all got what they wanted: Mimic’s information is wipe from the database so that he can be free of Eggman, Rough and Tumble have enhancements of their own and Zavok now is in control of merely a portion of Eggman’s territory. After watching the Sonic x Shadow Generations trailer, I thought this day couldn’t get any better. Glad to be told otherwise.

OUGH THE SMALL LITTLE DETAILS HERE ARE PERFECT. I ESPECIALLY LOVE THE REDONE CREDITS' SEQUENCE WITH ZAVOK'S VOICE AND MIMIC'S KNIFE, REALLY DOES SHOW THAT THE POWER DYNAMIC HAS COMPLETELY SHIFTED.

I honestly thought that was Dr.Starline from the start when i saw Zavok appeared and Dr. Starline (Mimic) just shapeshift as Dr.Starline and i thought he was recording himself about his plans but turns out i was wrong. Rough knows how Sonic feels with his speed. At the end i knew he was gonna get back stab by Zavok and Mimic except Rough and Tumble since they didn't know and weren't there. Dr.Starline was about to back stab them but turns out Zavok and Mimic just double cross him. Please take your time making thee amazing videos.

I had never read Bad Guys before, so it surprised me when Mimic was the one impersonating Starline, but then I replayed it, and then I noticed that he oddly didn't have the Tricore on his glove. Also, I feel like most of the group could legitimately work well together if it wasn't for Starline. Too bad they went their separate ways.

I love when arrogant charachters get their comeuppance, granted starline CAN come out on top in the end (if he plays his cards right), it definitely won’t be as easy as he originally planned. Which makes me happy because it goes to show that these guys really are some of the baddest of the bad they just have their own flaws that lead to defeat as well. Something they all share, phenomenal job guys! Can’t wait to see what happens next

I really like how Zavok and Mimic have a mutual respect for one another, which is surprising since they mainly think only of themselves and nobody else. I know this doesn't last forever since I know how the final part goes, but it's enjoyable to see nonetheless. On another note, it's kind of weird see Zavok with a mouth. If you look closely in some shots, you can see Zavok smiling behind his red "teeth", showing that they may not actually be attached to his mouth, and are actually separate, spike-like appendages.
