That shoe-throwing “prank” pissed me off. My father’s friend’s father (ok, it’s complicated 😅) lost vision in one eye and almost died with his whole family because one person in a bus in front of their car on a highway threw a glass coke bottle from the window. The bottle hit the windscreen and he somehow managed to stop the car but a piece of glass permanently injured his eye.

well he went blind from the shard of glass, you should never throw glass but he wasnt. He could have literally caused a death of a family on the road if the shoes hit a windsheild...or like you said, a bus of people. Never throw something at someone's face. My teacher and her friends were throwing apples as teens in an orchard and a freakin APPLE hit him in the face and yup her friend accidentally blinded one of their friends and he felt really bad forever. Kids randomly die from getting balls thrown at them though, life is scary and unpredictable.

@@Noise_floorxx firstly, i think it could depend on the model and what country, some bus windows in my country for example are really fragile and would definitely break if someone threw a shoe at them from a height. Second, even if it doesn't affect the bus itself it could startle the driver and cause an accident

That normal people in these situations, if it weren't scripted, would not do these things BECAUSE it's dangerous as you described. I HAVE intrusive thoughts about jumping into random bodies of water, throwing things into busy traffic, stripping in public, etc..

i would actually disagree about the "this isn't hurting anyone" thing. that "there's a spider" one is in a full coffee shop, and sure they could've told the shop they were going to do that, but people RAN out of there after he started screaming and getting naked, and personally that would've been incredibly triggering to experience, on top of the whole they wouldve gotten kicked out immediately if he said that to the room

For the honk for BJ prank, in my experience a lot of people will honk out of good intention. As in once while driving with my mom, we saw a pickup truck that was leaking what smelled like gas (probably just a jerrycan spilling over in the bed) and a bunch of cars were honking at the truck to get the driver’s attention to the leaking.
