I'm not entirely sure what's Frank Miller's deal with color red in a film noir. I get that red can be used to emphasize danger of a temptress or the Nazi, but the Spirit also spots bright red tie when he's jumping from building to building. The same thing happens with Natalie Stack's red boots in Holy Terror. What's up with those red accessories?

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people watching this movie. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this movie for Christmas in 2021 from his uncle, so we put it in the VCR and started watching. By the end of the week he watched it 24 times. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just sitting there blankly staring. So i decided to make a netflix account and get this movie to see if I could maybe watch alongside him. I loaded in the movie and it started playing. This movie has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This movie reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

considering the comic never showed the villains face you could have easily had him wear something like a suit with a wide brimmed hat of some sort that constantly cast a shadow over his face so all you can see is he eyes and occasionally his smile, it would probably fit in with the style and add to his intimidation factor, not to mention jacksons voice would probably be horrifying coming from a shadowy figure considering the tone he puts on for the villain role

Only seeing the gloves wouldn't have worked in a film, yes. But, adaptationally, you solve that by casting multiple actors, one for every scene. Not even with a unified ethnicity. One scene he's Daniel Dae Kim. Next he's Samuel L. Jackson. Following scene he's John Cusack. Then he's Gary Farmer. You see more than gloves, but the impression of "no one knows what he actually looks like" is maintained.

Wouldn't the blood of Heracles not heal someone? I get the idea of a demigod's blood empowering people, but due to the circumstances of Heracles' death, I would think his blood would be poison rather than heal. He died when his wife put the blood of a centaur Heracles killed using Hydra tipped arrows (making the centaur's blood full of Hydra poison) on a cloak, which began burning his skin. Hell, that's even assuming there would be blood from that, since he had his friends burn him on a pyre, which burned away his mortal half and made him ascend to Mt. Olympus.

Now when I think about it, Frank Miller as a director reminds me of Tommy Wiseau and Derek Savage. Someone who thinks they are great but is not. But at least Wiesau had the sense to start marketing The Room as a comedy.

About Silken Floss' (God what a stupid name) fake eyelashes, Disgust from "Inside Out" called, she wants them back! 3.) Poor Muffin!!!!😭😭😭😭😭😭 4.) I think the reason why Spirit's sidekick, Ebony White is not in the movie, because I think the movie's original plot had the idea of Octopus (in this film) IS Ebony turned evil.

Ever notice that the titular Spirit never does anything in the movie? Apart from getting laid, he mostly gets his ass kicked, pratfalls into obstacles, gets captured through contrivance, and dies near the end. The only time he actually does something significant was near the end of the climax, where the cops did all the work.
