Actually I wasn't, how are they gonna make a single player game for an IP that is about 4 brothers figuring out how to be best together, I think they should've gone with a city at war storyline or even a lead up to the last ronin, it just seemed like a missed opportunity from the jump

You guys know the company said it would be like god of war I imagined that you can switch weapons when ever you want like from the sword to nunchucks to staff and the other one I forget name but this could be one of the best combat systems in any game ever

Each weapon should have a different unique fighting style for example The Katanas can cut through (almost) anything The Sais being used as Parry Weapons since they're design for defense. The Bo staff while fast does less damage And the Nunchucks could be the hardest weapon to master since they're hard to master in real life And the Tonfas... I don't maybe those one weapons you start off in the game Plus each weapon can be used to help you traverse the area like the Bo Staff for ziplining for the Sais for climbing You following me hear?

@thefirstofthelastones8952 I didn’t know he got Tonfas but if he dose have that than this game would be on of the first to have nunchucks and tonfas idk any other game that has those with in-depth combat and I agree with every weapon have its on style. For me it sounds like Gotham knights but than you throw kratos into it. Yeah I think this game with a Batman Arkham night x god of war combat with good stealth would be like the best game ever

It’s heartbreaking. Not being able to feed and support your family is a feeling I wouldn’t wish on anyone. Losing your livelihood is gut wrenching and soul taxing.

Also already game development has a very tough job schedule. Without many holidays, more work, a single AAA game would need years to produce even on average it's 4-5 years. Layoffs would make it even tough for developers and a slightly long period for game release. Edit: 4-5 years for AAA games, if it's an Indie game, it would be around 1.5-2 years.

Company greeds are using Ai to create the game and laying off artists. That's why gamedevelopment will get delayed

Sure you need managers in any business but they can’t organise anything with no people who are actually doing the work creating the game. Getting rid of one manager (who is probably not needed) would have probably saved 3-5 other people’s jobs

It is truly an amazing book, I do collect comic books but was never into TMNT ngl but that book changed all that so I've bought all the hsrdcovers.

(on my bfs phone not my account) I was planning on going to college this year for game development. Now I am doubting that. Been my dream since a kid. AI is ruining that. "There will always be an audience for human hand crafted games" someone said to me, is hopeful, but still.

I wish there was an easy community to join to help craft games, animate, etc. similar to game jams people run but larger that could be profitable.

If you really don't wanna read the story I'll give you a small understanding of the title. Mikey is the last ronin. The point of the story was the writers always wrote Mikey as the greatest potential of the turtles with the smallest work ethic. This story was the lovechild of the writers room that answered the question, "what if money was given a true purpose for greatness". They twisted that by giving him his purpose through the graphic and simultaneous deaths of his entire family which he felt responsible for This leads him down a path of ruin where he attempts suicide but the mutagen in his blood won't allow natural death by the elements, so he joins up with a older April and her daughter (with a deceased Casey) to put an end to the tyranny of the foot clan in a battle ravaged dystopian New York city and lives his life with the goal of avenging his fallen brothers who torment him as "force ghosts" who taunt him for not being there for them (not real, just his projection) Honestly one of the highest tier mini stories of any IP in the last 20 years imo and worth a read if you want There's also a new set of turtles in this "ronin verse" now led by April's daughter coming later this month
