Guinness is one of the most sucessful beers in the world and arguably the national drink of Ireland! This is an account of some of the highs and lows his history since the company was established by Arthur Guinness in 1759. This video covers the history, making and the legend of the "Bad pint"!

Greetings from Ireland! Welcome to my channel, that is dedicated to the history and culture of Ireland.This is not set out to be a history lesson, but a ramble through some stories you might find interesting about Ireland from an Irishman! Ireland has so many connections throughout the world from the emigration from this country over so many centuries, but those with Irish blood in their families always have a yearning to know more about thier "old country", this is my attempt to bring some of the history and culture they left behind. The answer is the Guinness so you have the ability to deal with the tax stuff

My great grandfather and his father ex military both worked in Guinness's. My grandfather was born in the Coomb Hospital. Incredible interesting to know of their Protestant faith. Which ironically I've returned to. Thanks so much I did the Leaving certificate 1970 and got a very poor overview of real Irish history. Just as today, and the plantation of Ireland, the people of Ireland are kept in the dark. Oooh sounds like the Black stuff. 😂

I received my first legal Guinness 'pick-me-up' aged 16 when I donated blood during an FCA/Army Reserve Camp at Tralee Race Course 1969. As a 'reward', I donate my A- blood regularly ever since. Nursing Mothers and ppl with stomach problems were recommended to drink a bottle of G Stout long ago. Fun Fact: Arthur Guinness funded the first Sunday School in Ireland with the proceeds of his brew!

The family name Guinness derives from old Gaelic name 'MacAongus' Son of Aengus..

@@primalireland-histcult I didn't experience any recoil shoulder pain, but back then I was a representative athlete for my school, city & FCA, so probably more hardy than the average person. I never had any involvement with weapons after my FCA experience. PAX!
