In some cases, just go through red and ignore the consequences, as on lad did, who nearly took out a bunch of young school kids that were about to go across the road, a coach obstructing the other side. I stood behind the coach and peered round it before carrying on walking on the green man, and a lad, with head down, on phone, whizzed past, his knees holding the steering wheel. I told the children to stop where they were.

Four simple letters to answer your question at around 5:31… MGIF It doesn’t matter what is on the road or what lane they are in, they _have_ to get in front of everyone on the road and be first of those to stop at the next red light

I had to laugh at your opening gambit, in regards to cyclists not getting enough credit for stopping at redlights... what a pointless thing to have to remark upon.... well done for doing what you are supposed to be doing....that reminds me I have to get up extra early tomorrow to catch the postman and thank him for doing his effin job... ha ha

The old ways of once having passed the test throw the handbook out of the window. By the way, I was watching police van after police van making illegal U-turns up the road from me. Good example to the public, and no doubt the very same would pull up drivers that did the same.

I was quite surprised with my car insurance quote this year. I'm insuring with one of the 93 car insurance companies owned by AXA and registered in Gibraltar and my quote was £230 fully comp with £800 in various excesses on a £1500 Picasso. This means a small dent will write my car off but who cares cos it hasn't gone up by £3 million quid🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

Pedant away my friend. The AA claimed to be the 4th emergency service as well but never, ever trust them to open your vehicle door let alone tow your vehicle safely 😉

0:00 cyclist didn't even stop before the stop line. And are unnecessarily obstructing pavement with their foot so wheelchair users coming from same direction might have to go round the traffic light pole instead before cross the road. I have , more carefully, cycled on pavement countless times for safety reasons to be honest though!

one time I was walking in london with my mate, we wanted to cross the road and my mate said "is it red?" I looked at the cyclist and said "yea its red, you can tell by the cyclist going through red" the cyclist was about 3ft from me when I said it, suddenly stopped and reversed back to the stop line saying "sorry, sorry" 😆

4th Emergency service is Breakdown services like AA RAC etc. 5th and 6th should either be delivery drivers like DHL DPD etc or Food delivery mopeds / cyclists? These are renowned for parking anywhere or ignoring road rules like lights etc! It’s about time cyclists were played to Id themselves? Suggestion is Hi Viz vest with identifier on back to always be worn? For delivery cyclists with back loads, put identifier on back load? Love the channel. Just about agree with everything and have watched your episodes from start. Best explanations and design around nat DCB Bristol? As regards car makes, it’s not the tool but the tools behind the tool that should be blamed? Invariably, Audi, BMW, Merc etc. drivers are usually British?! In my experience, American, Aussies and Brits are the most entitled / privileged drivers around and the first to drive away as in hit and runs, especially Yanks? British drivers used to be so good …? It’s getting worse out there now? 👍

Sorry but I have to disagree with you on the double parked lorry, there maybe a large gap when you passed but it may have already had other vehicles in that space when he first got there. Don't forget as well as the length of the lorry the driver needs enough space behind for the tailgate & pallets, plus a drop kerb for the pump truck.

Another thing to consider is the length of the back end of the lorry and the position of the rear axle as they make tight maneuvers near the kerb potentially hazardous as well. It’s quite easy to give a bollard, a lamppost or a pedestrian a whack with the tail-swing if you put a lot of steering on.

Just a word of warning to all vehicle drivers, a new cyclist craze has started while sitting in traffic a cyclist will come to the side of you and stop dead, pretending to be check a phone or looking in a bag as the lights turn green just waiting at the spot, causing the driver to try and move around the parked up cyclist and in turn races behind you with a big smile because they have caught you doing a close pass, eco warriors on bikes now.

@Donkavision-sx4js Until my health took a turn for the worst, I cycled daily for more than 10 years. I stopped at red lights, and I stopped at crossings. I didn't expect any praise for doing either of those things. Now, I only drive. I stop at red lights, and I stop at crossings. I still don't expect praise for doing either of those things.

Do you really think that will make that much of a difference with the added administrative overhead and costs when there are plenty of drivers out there without number plates, false plates and out of date keeper information Many countries tried to introduce registrations for cycles and all those countries either stopped before the introduction or scrapped it within a couple of years as it was either too much money, too much administration or both

Come on be fair, not many pedally bikers actually stop at red traffic lights so why act surprised if one does do the right thing. He probably knows this junction too well to jump the lights anyway.
