you can add: 5) super good stamina : he can perform many smashes nearly 400 km/h in a 3rd set at point 14th, 15th (watch Denmark 2018 final vs Chou Tien Chen). 6) the nerve of steel : he can comeback from a 6-16 down vs Axelsen and a 10-16 down vs Ginting (watch 2019 Singapore Open). 7) non-arrogant mindset : no big celebration even when winning world title (watch 2018 WC Final vs Shi Yuqi). He always said that he need to improve himself in all of his interviews.

Momota is accurate as f. You have to hit him down the lines just like Shi Yuqi did in the Sudirman Cup finals. Momota is a type of player who make u commit mistakes because of his incredible defence!

Old comment but also why i think badminton does not get as much love versus other sports. We often focus on the past instead of focusing on the present. Momota's world record of most titles in a year is hardly celebrated yet we look into past titles and a gazillion comments on every badminton video "LD is Goat" or "I miss LCW".

The best thing about this guy is.. The way he cut the court space.. To position himself at the perfect place to receive any shots.. His footwork to and movement to do that perfectly calculated.. I think any players if they perfecting this movement can challenge kento momota.. Thats his special abilities.. Perfecting the the footwork and movement to cut the space court and made it small for him.. Easy to defend and easy to attacking..

Honestly Momota and Axelsen are very lucky to be born later, they have no chance against prime Lin Dan and LCW. Taufik Hidayat and Peter Gade are also legends who could have been the best in any other era but they were unfortunate to meet Lin Dan and LCW. Well Taufik was better than LD in 2001-2005 but after 2006, it was all LD vs LCW. If they played in that era, I doubt Momota and Axelsen could even beat Gade.

Exactly, throughout the 2000-2010. There are several strong men’s single such as chen hong, chen jin, sony dwi kuncoro, lee hyun il, bao chunlai. I doubt they can managed to go to finals consecutively during that era.

I had the opportunity to watch roslin hashim, peter gade, taufik, xia xuanze, chen ho, lin dan, lee chong wei, momota, axelsen, shi yuqi to play, all from different times. Of all the match, i can say the most anticipated match is between Lin Dan against Lee Chong Wei. The speed, accuracy, power, skills when they were at their prime was the most breathtaking match of all...

How much gold/1st place hes got, that one u can google it yourself... Along that period, he got a formidable opponent named Lin Dan...

@@thanostitan8696 Momota had better achievements than LEE CW. 2008 he was 26 years as he born in 1982. Momota born 1994 world no 1 in 2018 and he won world championship . Yes he had formidable rival but the rival didn't play after Olympics 2008 for a year.

@@GodofSports I really liked the cover and the video! I personally prefer shuttle sound and commentary rather than music. Shuttle sound was over powering the music which was perfect for me. Kento Momota is really talented. And I really love "Lee Chong Wei will be back" edit at the end. The cover was also awesome! Keep the great work up! Although I can't participate in the give away because I'm not on Instagram :( . Still live your videos. And *Lee* *Chong* *Wei* will Return!

@@GodofSports I really want to but I'm not on Instagram. I'm in 12th and have PCM so have to concentrate on studies. I used to play badminton 6 days a week in 11th but now that has reduced once every 3-4 weeks. I love badminton so it's been hard.

I don't follow badminton much but I used to watch LCW and Dan Lin. Is Kento better than LCW or Dan Lin at their primes? Or it can't be compared because there are changes in rules or equipment/shuttlecock that I don't know of?

But now that you say he can't even compete against prime Taufik, I don't know if you're joking. I guess the new generation of badminton players are not as competent... just like the new generation of tennis players won't be as competent when Federer, Nadal, Djokovic retires. Not Dominic Thiem though, that guy is really competitive.

At this age lin dan was already in god lvl and own olympic gold,bwf gold everything....feel sorry for momota couldnt achieve while lin dan and lee was present....now that they are gone no one good enough to challenge him...axelson,Chen long is good...Momota is same lvl as them....bt not as good as lcw or lin dan.....i hope he doesnt end his carrer without olympic gold like lee
