I would love a season 2 in this world, but I can imagine fans would prefer an adaptation of the comic volumes.

I freakin loved this take on the series! As a fan of the comics, movie, AND video game... all the references and call-backs were a treat. The animation studio did great as well, they're pretty awesome with anime and guest-animating western shows like Adventure Time. I'm excited for season 2. Also, Even Older Scott is supposed to look like Evil Ryu with some Akuma (from Street Fighter), and the video game-y song playing was from the Nega Scott fight in the video game. Wallace's new bf is named Mobile from the comics, the one who works at Nintendo. I think Ramona's hair color might be a reference to Super Sonic/Super Saiyan (from Dragonball Z). Also, the song Old Scott sings with the Twins is from an old anime Bubblegum Crisis that takes place in the future, song title "Konya wa Hurricane" so check that out!

The closing song is "Scott Pilgrim" by all-girl Canadian indie rock band Plumtree. Yes, Bryan Lee O'Malley took the name from the song. Scott spends part of the movie wearing a Plumtree T-shirt and you can hear the opening chords of the song in the first exterior shot of Scott and Wallace's apartment. Plum had broken up years before the movie came out, but reunited to play at the Canadian premier party.

So the song Old Scott is performing is Konya Wa Hurricane which is the opening song to a late 80's cyberpunk anime cult classic called Bubblegum Crisis... but the song performed in that show is almost shot for shot reference to the opening of 1984's Streets of Fire movie which is BenDavid Grabinski's (who was co-written the show together with Bryan Lee O'Malley who was the author of the original Scott Pilgrim movie). So it's a really weeeird reference cause the show references a reference. :D

Mason was saying Even older scott looked like rambo. But if you think about it, red head band grey full beard and he was barefoot. I think They are referencing RYU when he got older in Street Fighter

Not sure if you guys mentioned it or caught it, but every time you saw robot - 01 spying on Ramona, that was Scott using the robot to "watch the past." Also no current plans for a season 2... sad

Been tuning in for a while now and LOVE your reactions. By far my favorite reaction channel, would love to see you watch the TV show “supernatural”. Definitely a lasting series with 11 seasons but very much worth the watch.

Hello I loved watching your 3 Idiots Reaction so much and now I'm watching Harry Potter reaction. I wanna recommened some Asian Dramas which I would love to watch with you guys: 1. Twinkling Watermelon ( One of The Best Korean Drama this year and all time, in my opinion) 2. The Blood Of Youth (One of the best Chinese Drama) sorry I don't know where to recommened and I don't have the money to buy patreon membership that's why I'm putting it here.

I feel like you guys would love demon slayer it's filled with crazy fights but it has a very dark story with comedy sprinkled in. I recommend the English dub unless you guys speak Japanese 😂
