Great videos and so well explained. I am sat here stop starting making notes and counting timbers....... I am looking to build and it will be the same dimensions, maybe less windows. Do you think at the end of the build you can list the timbers and quantity bought. Love to be able to go to my local wood yard and just buy one time instead of multiple deliveries. Asking a bit much I know but would be cool.

Next time you have a load of window & door cutouts to do, take a look at ‘Awesome Framers’ channel as they have attached a small router to a roof scraper and push it around like a toddler’s play Hoover. Works very well.

The wonders of modular construction - great job Matt. Do you think you could recreate this inside your 'tent' back home? I get teary eyed when I see you stepping out of the 'old' badger-hut - like so much workshop furniture, you should have build it on castors, lol!

Hi Matt, you are doing a great job, and I love your videos. just wanted to point out that the top headers you fitted on the front and back walls should have ended 3" short of the end of the walls and the top headers on the two end walls should have been 3" longer at each end to lock the walls together better. Obviously not too important for this build but it is best practice and worth remembering for the future.

just a suggestion, if you are going to go through the trouble of screwing up a board to make a line to cut along, why not just move it down the widh of your saw plate from blade and use it as a fence for the saw?

Just thinking about how you cut the OSB for the windows. Could you use a router instead of a jigsaw? I think you would get a nice flush line then.

Very nice. Intrigued to see what you do with those window panes. And any justification for using 2x3s as opposed to 2x4 (other than cost of course). You're obviously not concerned about them holding up the weight of the roof but is that based on experience or structural calculations?

Hi Matt. Great video, I really enjoyed it. Can you please answer me one question? When you draw the lines on the floor at time 0.45 and say 87 degrees. Then you set your saw at 3 degrees could you please explain how you come up with the 3 degrees?? My apologies in advance, as working out degrees has never been my strong point.
