Badhaai Do is a complete family entertainer, with a twist! There were a few indian movies before the acceptance went global. If I remember right, one was with Shabana Azmi, back then Indians were not quite broad minded to accept it or maybe the movie was waayy too ahead of its time. But im glad its changing now. Indians need to grow and broaden as a society and social norms/rules should see changes as well.

Whole movie is fab! the issue is well portrayed and the Lavender Marriage concept was very well described in the last PRIDE PARADE gave me goosebumps!! and the songs and Arijit Singh voice...ufff!! it gives "char chand" in the movie! the emotions and Love clearly visible! hats off acting to Rajkumar and Bhumi chum darang(SHE IS LOBBE)💕! I LOVE YOU GUYS! Good to see INDIA is getting forward in lgbtq contents! otherwise i had to rely on THAI Series! I want you guys to give a watch YOU WILL SURELY LOVE IT!💕 LOVE IS LOVE!🏳️🌈

They have a... Straightpride flag.. In the movie. And secondly even tho finally they are making movies on such issues, it's more of a comical way it is being represented as. And they are promoting the idea of "Lavender marriages" instead of actually making normal movies just with lgbt+ characters. And oh btw the actors casted are also straight. This representation only benefits their pockets. Not out community.

Yes, the day actors belonging to the LGBTQ+ community are cast in the movies which are base on them, it would be justified! Baby steps I hope.
