My very first winch install.

Thanks for making the video. I installed the same winch on the same machine. I didn't bother buying the Kawasaki mount but I wish I had. I used the mount plate that came with the Badland's winch. For anyone reading this, don't do it. You'll have to drill holes and cut the skid plate to make everything fit.

I have the same winch with the same power post touching the brush guard issue. Some people have clocked the end housing by loosening the bolts and turning the end cover that the post protrudes from. It seems that some of the winches can be clocked and others not. Mine wouldn't turn so I need to reluctantantly dent my brush guard as you did. My Teryx is a 2014.

Keep the winch cable on your winch . Don't bother putting synthetic rope on your winch . I wood not recommend it .

By putting that aftermarket winch on your teryx did it void your warranty from the dealer?

To the best of my knowledge, I would say no. Not sure why it would because it has holes already pre-drilled for a winch and I don’t think Kawasaki has a specific list of winches that can only be mounted on it. But I would advise you to check your owners manual just to make sure.
