I've watched a lot of korean actors but none of them are like him. He is truly a special man in every way. 🇹🇷 ❤

To be honest, I've never been "stucked" to any Korean drama series before, until I watched this "Winter Sonata" sometime in 2002. Then only on Dec 2021, Jan 2022, that I decided to watch the series again for several times like more than 20 times, I need to go back and watch it over and over again! That series for me is something else, it's not just a simple drama series, I could say, it's the best Korean love drama series ever filmed in the world entertainment history! The background music, theme songs and the instrumental were so perfect in every scene. The lead actor/actress, the whole cast were all perfect portraying their roles particularly BAE YONG JOON (his voice, smile, his very manly/ gentleman gestures in most of the scenes, the pretty handsome face, and the blond wavy hair, of course, everything were so perfect! Actually, he became my crush in the series. It's just missing him already in the screen. I think he is the highest paid Korean actor of all time , around US$250,000 ++ per episode! With the superb performance of the whole cast esp CHOI JI WOO & BAE YONG JOON, the huge success of Winter Sonata all over the world, would not be made possible (that series garnered prestigious awards, a grand prize winner, too)! I could not forget that WINTER SONATA series ever in my life, for me it's the best Korean series, ever filmed/produced, (better than Love Story, Titanic, Ghost, Yesterday, Thorn Birds, etc). Every scene/episode in that series really matters to me! It's part of my life now, that series has become a legend now, leaving a mark of a lifetime legacy not only to their viewers/fans but even to their own families, offspring- for sure it will be watched again by future generations, how TRUE LOVE, destiny, faith, prayers, patience really work in every relationship or truly exist in this world! Of course, their families, future offspring of Bae Yong Joon & Choi Ji Woo, will always remember that their parents were once cast as the main lead roles of a greatest series in the world, and for sure they are going to see that soon in their lives, that series will never be forgotten by the present or future time generations, it's always there, in the hearts of many millions of viewers like me, who fell in love also in their very realistic, natural acting or portrayal in their roles. WInter Sonata has not only entertained us, it even touched the very depths of our soul, it even boosted the tourism industry of South Korea, impacting the whole economy, for real; and improved the relations of neighboring Asian countries like Japan, Philippines, etc; has smoothen the edgy relationship w Japan since 1910! Overall, I'm happy in that series but not 100%..just 80%, the remaining 20% are all questions left unanswered until now since there has not been any sequel in that series which is so impossible now. Should there be a sequel before, it would be great that same casting would do the roles like Bae Yong Joon (I'm aware he has retired from acting since 2007 and has his own family now) and Choi Ji Woo, is now a happy mother/family man, too) The 20% unanswered areas, or dissatisfaction, are- the writers made the lead character BLIND, that they made the Jungsang & Yoojin true love suffered/punished in the final episode which is really so unfair for two people in love deeply, 10 long years being locked in lost memory are just enough, I think! Moreover, the writers failed to emphasize the blessings of being true/honest in their love feelings. It's not also being mentioned that they live happily ever after, like for how many years, did they have offspring after that, what happened to their parents, did they realize the consequences of the big lies/secrets they made to Jun Sang/Yoojin, the continuity or concluding parts of the story remain unanswered, it's just left hanging in the air! Bae Yong Joon has become my favorite Korean actor since then. I really don't watch anymore Korean series after Winter Sonata (I just watched only 3, that is Autumn in my Heart, Winter Sonata, and Full House) (Canada)
