Hi HipyoTech, im planning to mod my rk61 with Akko CS Matcha Green switches, paired with matcha green keycaps, have you got any suggestions for other mods? The mods I want to use so far are tape mod, foam, and kilmat.

That "after lubing" demo sounds pretty scratchy too. A waste of 30mins when you can just buy pre-lubed, and at the very least lube your own stabs, also takes 30 mins.

Can I lube the stablizers of my blue swith keyboard? Not the switches self, but only the stabilizers of my keyboard? And which lube is the best for that? Is the krytox xht-bdz good for that? (since it is thick)

Yes, look up some vids on how to lube/tune stabilizers. And you can use 205g0 lube

@@gus7263 you don't want to bag lube your stems it gets all over it even the top part. Also if you have tactiles this is a no no.

Well most people just wipe off the top of the stem after bag lubing their stems. Works perfectly fine. But yeah I agree with you on not doing this method on tactiles if you wanna save that bump.

Itll scrath the stem causing your switcv to be very scratchy if using a soft material like pom

Idk if u can hear ngl but I can see tho , There’s not much of a difference in sound but the feel is really what matters, it is easier to hear the difference when it has key caps on it

How much lube do you recommend putting in the container for around 70 switches. That’s what I’m currently trying to figure out

@@ITZnJeans the pole will be coated with lubricant and when you type, the pole will touch the bottom housing and mute the switch sound so lubing this way is not recommended
