The peak 75 is a list of hills/places in the Peak district national park that i have compiled for my own pleasure, allowing me to get out into this beautiful area and tick them off, a few are popular with walkers while most are rarely walked. Some i have visited many times and others that i had never heard of until i made this list...the ever growing list of places already visited are listed below...fancy a challenge? The weather sums up the whole of 2024, dull, moody, wet and cold but good to see it not stopping you and you have inspired me to get my lazy behind out tomorrow, despite the forecasted rain showers - sick to death of waiting for dry, sunny weather. Always nice to bump into someone else on the trail and eve better when they recognise you too! Apart from the cows on the trail, not a bad walk out and typically saved the best weather till the end, cheers Alan

Welcome to British Summer time but hey it wasn't raining and no clag so you can't grumble. Peaceful walk out to the hill fort and nice views from the Peters stone. That 80 odd year old geezer, who recognised you, looked good for his age. I hope I'm still able to wander 10 miles at that age...if I make it to that age 🙂

Beautiful hike though some lovely area. It's great to be recognized. Only happened 1 time for us! My mother does count right? 🤣🤣Loved coming along for the full stroll.

Goodness me, you have some cracking scenery around by you. I love the Brecon beacons but man, it’s stunning where you are! That 84-year-old chap seemed such a lovely character and I only wish I could walk 10 miles a day when I get to that age. They say that everybody gets 15 minutes of fame in their life. Well, I’ve just witnessed yours. 😂

Loved this one mate. Very cool to meet Don. Just love meeting people out and about and swapping stories. Seeing the deer was good too. The weather has been a joke - we just had four days at a Show and just kept raining. When we woke up it was like - anyone know what time the rain starts? And it was cold too Well done on getting to 43 - just keep going mate. There will come a time when we can’t

Sorry Steven...not a Bronze age Chieftain...More like Simba on Pride Rock🤔...Sorry you lost your Mojo with the other two...it was cos you were spoilt down South in Cornwall and Devon🙂...The Gent was made of Sheffield Steel...God Bless him...Think I might just make it down to the local if I get to his age...I really can't believe you went to the Peter's stone...I was on top of it yesterday returning to Buxton from Eyam...can you believe they left criminals to rot up there...Also supposed to be haunted and is also known as Gibbet Rock...Excellent vid...Cheers Les🙂👍

Thanks Les...so glad i got my mojo back...Pity i didn't bump into you on Peters stone [ not literally ]...yes i know of it's gruesome history...i could imagine a skeleton up there clanking against the bars of a cage in the wind..bleached white in the sun after the flesh had been torn off by crows and Jackdaws..sends a shiver !!
