Baha'i Actor and service addict Travis Van Winkle-riddled with self-doubt, feelings of worthlessness and low self-esteem-finally decides to investigate various modes of spirituality. On a quest to get to know himself for the first time, spiritually thirsty and looking for knowledge and love, Travis encounters the Baha'i Faith and finds that service to others-to those who have to bear a heavier load than he does-give him the meaning and life purpose he sought.

Wow! Truly Inspirational talk of encouragement to ' get off our butts and serve our fellow human beings who need our help and expertise. Why waste time in North America when we can do so much to help our brothers and sisters all over the world? We, in North America, in particular, have become too accustomed to our Big comfortable homes, our cars, living the good life and have no regard or concern about struggling humanity! Most of us 'talk the Baha'i talk but fail to do the walk!"

I agree with you 100%, our country could use some help too as far as the increasing homelessness rate and mental health facilities along with more drug addiction counseling and rehabilitation services would be extremely helpful. Thank you for sharing, take care and keep spreading the good 🙂

I've been helping some people, but it's starting to take over my life, to the point where I'm not taking care of myself, my relationship with my wife or my son... How can I help people without hurting myself is what I need to find out.

Brother. You cannot pour from an empty cup. View your body as a machine or a car. It needs to be up to date to function. Mentally - Read books, meditate Physical - exercise and eat healthy And lastly your relationship with your close ones. View them as people that also need your help. Give the best of what you have not what's left of you. So as to be able to continue helping others long term. Take care brother. May Christ be with you.

Shave off the beard and color the hair the original blonde and you'd be more convincing, Travis. People are shallow, you need to use your handsomeness to be more endearing.
