Baitings Reservoir Near Empty, Waterfall, Old Bridge Revealed FPV Drone 2022

Baitings Reservoir getting very low on water as the drought of 2022 continues into late summer, maybe Autumn. Filmed Sept 4th.
Lovely to be able to see the old inlet waterfall in full and actually flowing despite the drought, and also to see the original arch bridge that was submerged.
However some right junk has been thrown off the new bridge, including an old one armed bandit and a bath tub, motorcycle frames, tyres and allsorts. Considering how much we now pay for water you might of thought the water authority might of had a clean up of the old tyre and other junk in there.

Just watched this after seeing Martin Zero's videos of the area, brilliant footage, going through the old & new bridges, best watched at 0.5 speed to take in all the detail.

Excellent record of past history. As a Welshman I have seen many valleys flooded and the past lost under water. Great to see someone take the time to document it when it reappears.

Cheers Swampthing :) was lucky filming.. police blocked it all off an hour later with the bomb squad , and an hour before it was grey and dull

Cheers , its a home built Iflight Titan DC5 with a mini Runcam Thumb Pro onboard doing the filming , its more a racing quadcopter set up using fpv goggles

If theres drought conditions why is there water being allowed to escape through the dam? Id have thought it would have made more sense to conserve every drop.

Its to keep the streams and the wild life that relies on the them, to keep its eco system alive, i do know drought permits get issued when bad which then enforce this measured release. hope that helps

Exactly my thoughts too, when the water companies charge so much , leave the pipes leaking and the trash in our water sources. Its thoughtless. oddly enough an hour after this video, the bomb squad were called , they cleared some of it up, a grenade and shot gun cartridges that had been disposed of some time ago from the bridge

Learn how to fly a drone, you can get lessons you know.. Flying as fast as you can is NOT the prime objective, it’s not a race, you don’t get the chance to see anything properly ? also nothing is level only swaying side to side making the viewer dizzy ! This video is not for viewers, it’s for drone operators who want to show off !!

@@yorkshiredronetours2995 Judging by the title you put up, is the only reason I wanted to watch it, not how well you fly your drone, or how badly, I leave that to the other drone operators who commented. I think you got it the wrong way round.. it’s not about what I want, it’s what “you” want that matter’s, and that is comment’s that suit you.. This is why there is a comment section, everyone has an opinion and I gave mine, and you call me miserable for doing so.. and yet I didn’t call you anything ? The only thing I can tell you fella if you can’t stand criticism then don’t put up videos !
