Love the palms, giant catci and the elephant tree! (which I've only seen in Anza Borrego). Seeing you navigating through the mud and rocky terrain reminds me of some of the really nasty stretches that Ewen McGregor and Charley Boorman drove in "Long Way Round". Oh, speaking of playing Frisbee in the desert, my brother and I once played catch at the bottom of Ubehebe Crater under a full moon with a "Whistling Nite Flyer"--a disc that had a snap-on holder for a glow stick and nubs on the edge that provided the whistling effect. ¡Rastros felices!
