10 ай бұрынEvery year, the Red House museum in Christchurch, Dorset organises a summer party to raise funds for this musuem. My father used to volunteer here in the 50s and 60s and now in 2023, my mother is still making cakes for them. This year, it is the banana loaf recipe from her favourite St Michael's cookery book. Please enjoy!

This is a very moist cake and has been enjoyed by many visitors when buying a slice of it from the cake stall at the Red House museum's garden parties An annual event in the summer.
