In my opinion there is no work/life balance. It's just a thing sold to the people by society, so they keep on being a busy bee. Thank you for the clip! Keep being you and doing what works for you!

I think balance is for later when you have things off the ground and you're cruising along. When you're trying to get going that requires the most effort... hence the least balance!

My problem is that I don't do well with multiple things. I am really good at going hard at one thing, then neglecting other things. For instance, I spent too much time trying to up my skills in tech, that I didn't spend any time trying to get my resume up to snuff, so I had to stop coding completely and focus on the resume. One that's done, I'll either go back to coding or something else tech related.

People really don't get the concept of balance. The philosophy comes from Buddhism where Buddha was trying to search and attain enlightenment. The story was he found a guru who believed that fasting and not eating at all would end all suffering, so you have to be hungry through your whole life and tell yourself you are not suffering. The result was Buddha ended up dying from starvation. When a woman maiden came by seeing him all bones and dried up, she quickly offered him a rice bowl. Buddha didn't give a crap anymore and just eat it so happily like his life was safe. That momentary happiness was when he was enlightened unintentionally. And that is the keyword, intentions. The fact that people intend to purposely seek balance is not balance. The fact that people forcing enlightenment won't find enlightenment. It's all just knowing and aware of what you seek, and conscious of what you do. One can be balanced and not balanced throughout their lives and it is ok. Life is not constant and not consistent.

the key is resilience, if somebody can be resilient pushing themselves while remaining trully unbothered, that is true power. otherwise it is self destruction.

Happy and unhealthy - I understand this process but health should be #1 when possible and if needed adjust your goals, I think knowing how to rest and heal just like with exercise is also a key to progression and staying healthy.

there never was balance, there is only corporate slavery, we are born to slog only in corporates till we die or till our retirement, whichever comes first especially if we work minimum wage !!!! upskilling everyday and job hopping every 18 months is the only way to increase personal professional value regaining balance while silently shifting from employee to entrepreneur !!!!

I think that this is mindset of capitalism. And that is sad but it's true in a same moment. Depending what we want, but living slower, with more awareness of every day, is absolute true

fuck succsess i just want to live a live worth living and stop slaving away for some scraps
@ChuckichanlyАй бұрын
ok but then if you dont put in the work in order to achieve success, that might mean that you will have to slave away for some scraps your entire life, and then same thing for your kids
@SIMPLYDEVONАй бұрын
@@Chuckichanly i hade a pretty easy but very depressing life so far i think making my children's life's better is probably not what i want. equipping them for no matter what comes at them they can handle it feels better to me. Succses is subjective my dad is hard working thats why i hardly know him. Whats money if you need to exchange many years for it. meanwhile your children are second guessing if they even should attend youre funeral.
