I recently bought the black fx with graph blade thinkng they were all the same just diff color thinkng of returning fof gold fx for sharp edge up amd lines should i stick with the blak fx zero gap ot or is it better to change for gold fx

Completely down to your personal preference my man. If you feel like one is sharper than the other then go for it

Just change the blade to a goldfx blade and you are good.

Just change the blade no point in buying a new trimmer, the trimmer is the exact same the only difference is the blade. The best blade for lineups is actually the graphite 2.0 fine tooth blade, which would match your black fx

Ya they still snag , so I just went an got a new one an it's fine now

I realized if my clippers are not fully charged , they snag because the speed slows down the movement of the blades

You need to have a tiny gap where the bottom/small blade doesn’t meet the top blade just a tiny gap

I don’t understand the point of the red tool. You stick it behind the back of the blade and then never touch it after that. So why can’t you just do the same thing without putting the red tool there?

It keeps the blades flush and straight , sometimes it’s hard to hold them together or you will have them uneven which will cause nicks and cuts

Wahl detailer is one of the best trimmers for lineups! I own one for almost 10 yrs and still running like brand new. I just got the babyliss rose gold, I will try that and compare them.
