This video is an observation of a Bald Eagle pair building a nest.
We've been observing this beautiful, nesting pair of Bald Eagle since early 2020.
• Bald Eagle Pair Buildi...
Their original nest was destroyed in a wind storm during the fall of 2020. In 2021, they returned to a different location on the same tree to rebuild their nest and were successful raising one youngster. This year, they are back and busy repairing some more damage to the nest.
This is a first look at their progress so far this year. We are hopeful they will be successful raising a family and hope to periodically document & share their story, so please subscribe to follow their journey and ours!

We have utmost respect for birds, wildlife and their habitat. We always use long, telephoto lenses to capture photos and video and in this case, we are situated far from the nest using our car as a blind. Please know that we never share exact locations of bird nest in order to protect the species and their sensitive environment.

Wow you have been following them for a while, that is why you are aware of the old nest of 2020. I love Bald Eagles. They are such huge birds so obviously they need bigger nests. Bald Eagles are such beautiful and majestic animals! I’m so glad to here that they built back after the wind storm! What’s amazing to me is that an entire human can lay in a Bald Eagle’s nest and your feet wouldn’t hang out! It’s incredible!! Awesome job on the getting the photo of the eagle with the sticks clutched in its talons! Y’all got some incredible footage as well!!

Wonderful observations of these eagles! I love seeing them working together on their nest… it’s hard to realize how huge the nests are. That was a lot of work for them to re-build - great to see the comparison with the earlier nest. Loved seeing the male gracefully take off from the branch, and how they both maneuver around up in the tree. 🦅🦅👍 Thanks Jody! 💖💕
