Did you know that the Bald Eagle flies with its wings held flat while Turkey Vultures fly with their wings in a slight V-shape (dihedral)? If you would like results like this, check the links below. The eagle harassed the turkey vulture until it dropped what it was carrying, then the eagle dove and caught the falling food. Lots of different birds do this.

Eagles are not collective, so they do not accept the presence of a strange bird in their area. The opposite of that, vultures are collective and even in eating food they eat together and fly together

Yeah. Thanks for the comment. For context, the turkey vultures are regular in the area but bald eagles aren't. It isn't that surprising though since I'm less than 1 mile from the Potomac River but it is fairly rare to see a bald eagle at all let alone fighting another bird in the location that it was.

I wonder why the eagle suddenly broke off chasing the vulture & just did a stoop, diving for something that was apparently on the ground. It's an interesting clip, nonetheless. Thanks for sharing!

Sum1 ran over a rabbit in front of my house. I came home from work & a Turkey Vulture was standing in front of my driveway eating it. He was the enormous, probably 4ft+ standing height. He couldn't of cared less about my truck, honking horn or anything really. I locked my doors & just waited patiently for him to peel rabbit of street & take off with it. He was an impressive unit.

You sure that was just a turkey vulture and not a California condor? They've got a bald head too.

It seems that the eagle was chasing the vulture to get some food from this. So the vulture regurgitated and the eagle caught it in the air.

Eagles are a trip. The little woman and I were at the garden and heard a lot of Crows. A Bald Eagle flew towards us from the horizon, it had 12 Crows harassing it then suddenly a Crow got too close and the Eagle snatched it out of the air and perched on a pole not 60 feet away from us. It ripped that Crow to pieces and just threw it on the ground. The Crows made a helluva noise until they seen their friend discarded like garbage...the Eagle flew off without it entourage...pretty awesome..my wife got turned on by that so win/win..

I kind of like the clip I just wish it would have been narrated a little clear from start to finish you can hear you two perfectly that's not the problem it just was not clear to me of which bird was which because of like I said you guys were actually there to see the colors brighter and the actual Birds while we were to look at the video and I saw some comments asking was that a juvenile or was that this or that that's why I was saying it should have been there already just a little clearer on which Berg what's which which bird was chasing which keep up the good work guys love me some Eagles my favorite King of the sky so that you knew because you guys were there actually to see it was kind of hard to see which one was the eagle and which one was the vulture from the way I was looking at the video
