Maybe the idea with Guiliman is he’s trying to rebuild his half of the Imperium into a stable empire first, leaving Nihilus to Dante since he seems capable enough to at the very least hold things down for a good while. Then once Guiliman has his side under control he build up a sufficiently strong force, while not compromising his half, and then he can go out and fully reconquer Nihilus?

Very interesting. I never thought of the astronomicon’s original purpose may have been a weapon since the webway project would have eliminated the need for a beacon in the warp for interstellar travel. I wonder if it would have used the beacon effect to create an anti-daemon or anti-warp consciousness that could possess or corrupt humanity around terra.

I’ve been fighting chaos in my own life for 6 months now and today I woke up and it felt as though the astronomican in my own life had gone out. Maybe it will return in 30 days idk. But then I saw this video and it felt as though it were a sign from the emperor himself! And for 14 minutes and 44 seconds it felt as tho I had a protection inside the warp - and as you know 14:44 in the warp is like an eternity! Thank you

How did humanity navigate the warp in the dark age of technology if there was no astronomicon?

It shut out for a bit because the Emperor did a hard reset. I think recalculated how much power he must expend now so now to save power since he only needs half the power. Might attribute to the increase miracles and Legion of the Damned sighting. He knows his grandson Dante has everything covered on Nihilus.
