Neil Newbon, when he won Best Performance for Astarion, gave a wonderful speech about how fans felt seen by this game and the developers and actors in turn felt seen by the fans. We see you Larian, and this masterpiece deserved GOTY and all the best praises. Amazing.

As a 32 year old man, I have to say this is single-handedly the greatest game I have ever played. Divinity 1 & 2 are close second. You guys have always deserved recognition as a studio, everything you create is a work of art and I'll always support you. Thank you for not just being a team of suits looking to squeeze cash out of people, thank you for caring and creating a game that will last forever.

This is the greatest game I’ve ever played in my life. I’m 36, and it made me feel the way I did playing video games at 16. I mostly stopped playing games the last two decades, got a house, a family, kids, and didn’t really have time for it anymore. BG3 totally broke that. I’m 100+ hours in and regret nothing. The world you’ve crafted is brilliant, huge, full of emotional depth and characters to care about. My wife asked me what’s so good about it. It’s the story. I told her imagine a really great book or movie that never ends. I can’t put it down. I have to see what’s out there and what comes next. Update: Finally finished, rode off with my liberated alien girlfriend on a dragon to another dimension to start a democratic revolution in her fascist society and raise our adopted child from an egg. 11/10 game, cannot recommend it enough. End game credits had me in tears. What a wild adventure. We'll never see anything like this again.

I watched whole TGA without a break, got tears when Neil got the award, then I giggled when you got multiple awards in row including best RPG and all awards related to your support to the community, I felt so proud to be one of them. I got tears again when BG3 got the GOTY award, and at the last speech, and the moment I seen Neil crying, I couldn't hold myself anymore. First time in my life, I cried for a Game Award ^-^ cried of happiness. Thank you !

As a fan since Divine Divinity, I've spent the past 20+ years watching you prove yourselves to be the innovators and greatest developers in the RPG space, and I've seen you snubbed or just outright overlooked countless times. This long-time fan is so proud that you finally got your recognition by winning Game of the Year, and it's even sweeter because you beat out some legitimately stiff competition in a year packed with hard-hitting games. Congrats to everyone at Larian. You all deserved this and it's long overdue.

This is a little dark and heavy, but this year I’ve been struggling with thoughts of no longer being alive. Baldur’s Gate 3 has given me a reason to keep going. I never even heard of it prior to August of this year until KZfaq happened to drop a video having to do with the game. I’m very glad that video was dropped onto my recommended. BG3 has an interesting plot; the stories are crazy, funny, sad, touching, spicy, dark, and complex. I love the characters - the companions would be people I’d have in my actual friends/acquaintance circle (mostly upfront, with a few where they would be friends once you get to really know them lol), the soundtrack is great, and the gameplay itself is more often than not fun. While I haven’t clocked in more than 100 hours of gameplay, life often gets in the way and I sometimes still can’t get out of bed, I always have Baldur’s Gate to look forward to. Thank you Larian!

I have considered you guys one of the heavyweights in RPG game developers since the first Divinity: Original Sin left a highly, highly positive impression but I don't think I ever could have imagined the heights and level of sheer mastery in your crafts as you guys have demonstrated now with Baldur's Gate 3. It is the single greatest video game of all time, not just out of RPGs, it is my very favorite game of ANY genre. The world is supremely fortunate to have you all in it and doing what you do, the levels of joy and wonder and fun you've given me and likely countless others are simply unparalleled. Thank you Larian.

The first time I cried because I suck at this game, the second time I cried when they beat Rugan, the third time I cried with joy when I realized who Withers really is.
