I once played a bard. Urzullur the Half-Orc was titled “The Worst Bard... Ever.” This wasn’t because he was bad at music, it was because of all his... other interests... Favourite quote: “It’s only cannibalism if I eat Half-Orcs.” That should imply quite a lot of the kinds of shenanigans that Urzullur was up to.

I was blown away by what I've seen in the stream. I usually play Action RPG, but Baldur's Gate III caught my attention a long time ago. I play the original when I was a child and l am very nostalgic about the game. What an amazing level design, music, perfect sound effects, game dynamics. I am getting out of my seat and I just want you to know that I really appreciate the amazing work and your talent of everyone working on this. I don't take this work of art for granted. I want to play this game so much, a bit restricted now budget-wise but will do it as soon as I can, no matter early access or not. I just fell in love with what I've seen, especially in today's Druid stream. Good luck with the game development, you are doing an AWESOME job there.

I just squealed in pure excitement. Druid is my absolute favourite class that I have been dying to play since day 1. And it looks SO COOL! Can't wait for patch 4!

I've never thought of a Druid using wild shape to transform into an Aberration. This is a really cool concept and it should be used to explore the possibility of adding something like Circle of the Aberrant in 5e. It could happen as one of the possible origins for an Aberrant Mind Sorcerer was having a Mind Flayer tadpole implanted inside your head but the ceremorphosis was never completed, which is a clear reference to this game.

It is actually one of the most common concepts for homebrew druid subclasses, second only to the one that lets you wildshape into monstrosities.

But intellect devourers are too OP for players to shapeshift into. One devourer with fly on it can beat almost any beast, zombie or any other creature with low int.

This used to be a thing in 3.0/3.5 with the shifter prestige class (as well as transforming into any monster but undead I believe). Absolute metric ton of book work but was a lot of fun.

Druids in 5e are basically a tool belt. They can basically everything that everyone else can do, just not as well. My favourite class by far.

Absolutely, but how they are going to insert monks into the plot is hyping me. I mean, for druids there was the druid's groove and the whole setup about the ritual and how it was impacting the quest

I'm just enjoying helping out during development and playing the bits and pieces as they come out. No worries about content or when the finished product comes out. Once the game is in a finished form, then I will enjoy multiplayer. It's all good, no need to hate any part of the process. I sure as hell can't make a game any faster myself.

You should make it so you can change the skins on the animals. So bear can be Polar, Grizzly, Kodiak, etc. Different color cats and so on. Would be a rather simple addition.

@@starry65 I watched the Panel from Hell 2, yes the bear is a polar bear and I believe its only for Moon Circle but not sure about that. Making the animals customizable in some fashion would make playing a druid way more immersive. Maybe even add armor for the animals??

I'm glad for all the PC people that are playing this game personally im from console so I can not play it yet but once the full game comes out ( like DOS2 definitive edition) I hope the game comes to console as well. Great Update!
