I tried a similar build for Wyll using the infernal rapier in the off hand to get Cha to every attack and it worked beautifully. The demon worked great as a distraction as a bonus!

Hey Hobo, hope you are well! Love the build and I love dual-wielding in the game as well. I am almost done with my all-paladin play-through. I made sure I went through 8 levels with my Tav, Astarion, Shadowheart, and Lae' Zel. My Tav is Oth of Vengence 12 level pally, Asterion went 8/4 Oath Breaker with a Thief and dex dual-wielding build, Shadowheart Oath of Devotion and Light Cleric 8/4, and Lae' Zel is 9/3 is Oath of Ancients and Battle Master. Been a couple of getting my oaths back in the play through but man what fun. There were a few times early where lack of ranged/crowd control but once the smites warmed up and 2 attacks came on line, the team is a beast. I think my next playthrough either a High Dex party or a all throwing party. You have inspired a few of my builds as well, so thank you!

This reminds me of a build that I did, that was inspired by your Fire/Necrotic damage build. I just made much more of a dual wielder with Flame Blade and the Infernal Rapier, so it reminds me a bit of this build with the strong focus on multiple melee attacks and Fire Damage. I went 6 Eldritch Knight, 6 Spores Druid, using that helmet that gives you an extra bonus action when you deal damage with a leveled spell (like flame blade). And as. Druid with Heavy Armor, I was able to dump dex and str and have amazing stats elsewhere. Really fun.

I also like the dual wielding fantasy, so I'm doing a dual wielding full 12 Warlock (Pact of the Blade) for Wyll in my current Honour Mode run and would love to share the build. I have him running with Diadem of Arcane Synergy for CHA to Damage, Cloak of Protection, Bhaalist Armour (Aura of Murder toggle application to enemies to proc Diadem), Flawed Helldusk Gloves (upgrading to the full Helldusk soon), Evasive Boots, Broodmother's Revenge+Ring of Regeneration (this procs Broodmother's Revenge every turn for a bonus 1d6 Poison damage on all of your weapon hits), Caustic Band. With this item spread, he still has decent survivability with 20 AC, and it also synergises really well with TB Throw builds that use Piercing weapons.My Wyll is applying Piercing Vulnerability on enemies, and Karlach can stay far and throw Spears/Javelins/Pikes to deal double Piercing Damage. IIf I wanted to make Wyll have more survivability, I would probably swap out the Legacy of the Masters and add in The Reviving Hands, which essentially places a Blade Ward on him every start of his turn (because of the Ring of Regeneration, or at least that's how I expect the interaction to work). For weapons, I wanted to keep him using Rapiers for lore reasons, and because those deal Piercing damage, they also synergise really well with Bhaalist Armour! He's using Duellist's Prerogative and Harmonic Dueller (even more CHA to damage!), and for his ranged weapon I currently have Darkfire Shortbow on him but I intend to switch to Gontr Mael for Celestial Haste which does not have the Lethargy penalty if I lose concentration on it. I also throw on the Glacial Age buff from Flail of Ages onto the Duellist's Prerogative, since I also have a Water Elemental which can apply Chilled to enemies which makes them Vulnerable to Cold damage. Unfortunately the PotB CHA-to-Atk/Damage does not apply to the Harmonic Dueller off-hand, so the Harmonic Dueller off-hand attack deals quite a bit less damage (but at least it still gets amplified by Piercing Vulnerability). For feats, he's got Actor (for +1 CHA and Expertise in Performance checks which all but guarantees a successful Mellow Harmony on Harmonic Dueller. The Expertise in Deception is nothing to scoff at either), Dual Wielder, and +2 CHA. With 17 base CHA, +1 Actor, +2 ASI, +1 Stelmane Memory, +2 Mirror of Loss, +1 Hag, I can potentially get up to 24 CHA without Birthright or the Ravengard sword. I grabbed the +1 CHA Hag hair but haven't used it on Wyll yet. If I luck out with the Stelmane Memory on Wyll, then I'll have him eat the +1 CHA Hag Hair for a total of 24 CHA for a +7 modifier. On Honour Mode, it is hard to guarantee it, but I hope to be able to pull it off with enough Inspirations and buffs. With all the times we are adding CHA modifier to Damage, if the enemy is not resistant/immune to Piercing, then Wyll's Aura of Murder would affect it and even just the Piercing damage component of a single weapon attack would deal more damage than 3x beams of Eldritch Blast. Of course, if I'm out of movement, I can still fall back to Eldritch Blast to continue dealing damage. It's been super fun so far!

Actually, your "Fang of Tiamat" and this build helped me make my character: Tiamat's Talons. Here's what I came up with for advice: - Blue Dragonborn 🧑‍🏭 for contrast with class and lightning breath versatility (might add mod so breath scales 😂). - 6 Draconic Sorcerer (Red) 🔥: fire resistance/damage as well as boost at 6, metamagic twin &​ quicken, haste, negate spell, misty -5 warlock fiend 👹: pact weapons+extra atk, additional spells &​ cantrip -1 fighter dip 🙌: just to two hand fight. Not sure if sacrificing action surge will be worth the extra lvl in warlock tho. -Gale 🧔 & Shadowheart 💜 : make gale support to build terrain and buff weapons as wiz10/sorc2, and/or maybe extra buff with SH as Pad10/cle2 with polemaster &​sentinel feats. Overall a spellblasting, elemental blades swinging dragon with lightning &​ fire (headcannon is he has a blade of each element). Invested in mirror image for ac and sword flare, but I realize not getting DEX class like you did with monk might make score/equipment complicated. Would be awesome if you could recommend anything. If this set's capabilities pales a lot to your Fang of Tiamat, I might just go for a variation of it instead + I was already dissappointed that I can't dual wield everburn with smth 😂. Overall, will keep supporting. Keep up the good work.

This is the exact same build I have on my current playthrough. The only difference is I have a level in war domain cleric instead of fighter and went way of shadows instead of open hand. That way I can combine darkness and devil's sight while keeping my spell slots open to use other spells.

I think I might use this build for a origin Wyll run. I have yet to do one.

Three levels of rogue for thief and then mainlining open hand monk as a strength monk with tavern brawler is a pretty well known build that is actually pretty gnarly even before gear options. Also flurry of blows is 2 attacks for a single bonus action, so with haste and wholeness of body up you are making the three attacts with the long swords and then should be making four with your unarmed strikes.

Sick build, wished summoned weapons were more viable for the Noctus build. I’m trying to make builds for a 3-player run where we play as Alucard, Sypha, & Trevor Belmont from castlevania! For Trevor I was thinking dual wielder fighter / nature domain cleric for thorn whip & spirit guardians combo. For Alucard I was thinking archfey warlock / gloomstalker for dueling with a shield and teleporting around like he does, or trading warlock for Druid so you could turn into a wolf too, and using astarion as an origin character. I’m not sure if I should go way of 4 elements monk or sorcerer for Sypha though, I’d love to hear if you had any ideas!✨

I made an alternative build 5 warlock to get extra atack 3 rogue(thief) to have an another extra atack 3 fighter do lower crit chance, battle style and action surge. the last level you can spend or in fighter or rogue for another feat I use the hair to get 18 cha and the last feat for 20 cha the first feat is dual wield infernal rapier in off hand and any weapon you want in main hand I usually use the robe that doubles piercing damage and go with the infernal rapier and a dagger

I tried after the fifth patch to make Paladin - Warlock build, and at least in tactics, the additional attacks do not add up, which is why I only have two attacks per turn. I'll try Fighter or Monk with Warlock, maybe it will work.

I would love to see character builds for the extra companions that can be recruited

i dont know if you've done it before or if you would consider your pyro/cyromancer or maybe even gale build as adequate for this, but have you made a build where you try to stack as much arcane acuity and use saving throw spells? i like the idea of a bard with a wizard dip for scrolls, whom thinks theyre a full blown wizard thats powered through pure bravado, throwing spells noone can evade and thirsting for anyway to enhance their arcane abilities.

Do you not get Two Weapon fighting when picking Dual Wield as a feat?

Ot would be helpful to have an overview of the build, intended playstyle, etc. at the start of a video vs. jumping straight into levelling. It takes a while before even knowing what the build is supposed to be.

You can cast Draconic Elemental Weapon on PCs to enchant their equipped main hand weapons.

Stunning strike is not great in 5e, either all with scaling off a secondary stat and targeting constitution, which most monsters have absolute loads of. Just when it hits, it's cracked.

I fully support the use of mods... my favorites include some you use already ie leveling, all items, and chest summoning, I also love: Astralities' Hair Color Supplement Aether's Black Dye Backpack Full of Scrolls Pride Parade - A Dice Set Carry Weight Increased - Up To Over 9000 JWL Drop All The Loot Underwear of Rituals Bags Bags Bags Visible Shields Infinite Dyes - ( One of the dyes is basically the trans colors, but sadly this dye pack seems to bug out clickables in the camp) Transmog Enhanced

Can i ask you a question ? Are you using by chance Cheat Engine to speed up your builds experimentation ? Mine is not working, console commands are basically dead.

You only need a level 2 sorcerer for the twinned metamagic, since you can create the needed third sorcery point using a level 1 slot.

Can you try making build inspired by Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 ? He is not only great swordsman but also wizard so Eldritch knight could be good start for him but also Sorcerer or Warlock.

I know there's a site you can use to build/theory craft, it has all the boons you can apply, and the equipment part is in the works. It's a great site for console players, to plan out their builds and stuff. I've been trying to think of a build that I think is a gish? 1 level in fighter, 3 in Warlock for the pact boon/eldritch blast, and the rest in wizard or sorcerer but I don't know how to optimize it well. Think you could help and optimize the build?

How are you getting a level 12 in a turorial area? Showing a level 12 beating up tutorial area enemies, of course you'll do crazy damage against them.

Wouldn't a finesse weapon in your second hand be better? As this weapon is not bonded, thus only using your strength of 8? Wyll's rapier is probably the very best choice, as it uses charisma as deafult (and also let's you summon a demon).
