After Aegon's death, Balerion was claimed by his son, Maegor the Cruel, who took the throne by force. After Maegor's death, Princess Aera rode Balerion for a while. Prince Viserys, before he became king, was the last to ride Balerion in 93 AC. Balerion died of old age in 94 AC. Biggest plot hole in HOTD is Aegon I and his dream being passed from king to heir. Who the hell told Maegor when he usurped the throne? And I highly doubt he told jaehaerys 🤷♂️

The dream passesd from Aegon to Aenys and then from Aenys to Aegon(the uncrowned) and Jaehaerys..... I don't think Maegor even knew about the dream since he usurped the throne and in the end the throne went back to Jaehaerys who was the rightful heir after Aegon( the uncrowned) when he was murdered by Maegor.
