Her timing is SO GOOD. I've seen this variation slightly rushed quite a bit because it's so difficult, but she was on it the entire time. Beautiful!

Why is it hard?
@wwjdkarenАй бұрын
Well send a video of you doing it!! 😂🤪
@CueetiejanaraАй бұрын
@@wwjdkaren Okay, but tbf, ballet as a whole is very hard. So it's a valid question to ask why this particular variation is being pointed out as extra hard. As to why: only an assumption because while I'm a dancer, I'm not a ballet dancer, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong and/or add something I'm missing. But I can imagine that especially the row of relevés turning into pirouettes can be very hard to pull off, and them being in the second half of the variation only adding to that.

@@Cueetiejanara It's a sarcastic remark from Jacob as far as I'm concerned!!

@@RikardCR they might go pro and get paid; they may teach and get paid; they may have literally ANY other plan that any young person might have to move forward in their life and get paid. They're students. I danced 6x per week and studied medicine. What's your point?
@RikardCR29 күн бұрын
@@--KitsuneZurui-- you studied another career because you can't live only with dancing. That's the point. See.
@--KitsuneZurui--29 күн бұрын
@@RikardCR You clearly missed 'the point' 🙄 I never aspired to be a professional dancer. I simply enjoyed being a dance student (👈 the point, fyi 😉). However, I have several friends who did go pro and were very successful in their careers. They are accomplished and have comfortable lifestyles. Of course, not everyone would/could be successful in their art but that does not negate the potential for success. It simply boils down to capability and attitude. To wholesale dismiss a career in dance (or any other field), when you very evidently appear to have very little to zero knowledge of that pathway, is very silly. The sheer success of ballet companies worldwide and the fierce competition to secure (and keep) their positions within those companies is plain testament to that. Otherwise, there would be no professional companies or dancers at all.
