Heads up to the producers: you don't need dynamic angles and multiple shots when filming a ballet variation!! Ballet companies usually just do one continuous head-on shot that glides horizontally with the dancer. The variation is wasted if you keep cutting to her face only, or showing everything *but* the feet.
@oliviacase6417

THANK YOU. All of the explanations and focus on the footwork throughout the video only to frustrate the viewer with multiple cuts in the final scene. Then very little attention paid to the footwork as well!

Air Quotes some roles are just as demanding. Such as princess in sleeping beauty. As often in companies on a principled say off dancing aurora they dance the evil fairy. Other ballets Luke Raymonda have lots of variations for a principle dancer. But I loved dancing black swan such a great yet challenging role both physically but also because the acting of character has many dimensions. If you haven’t noticed I love my craft. 💙

Her piqué foot. kept landing at her mid-calf instead of at the knee making a much less coach told her that needed to be at the knee and she never changed it her piqué the knee making a much less exciting turn. I think a coach coaches you .and you are to receive what the coach says .You are not co-coaching, which is the feeling I get with this young lady. I love the way the Russians coach. There’s so much respect between the two. The coach either should be very honored or get another coach

It's so fascinating to see her struggling. I feel like I as a complete amateur tend to think of professional ballerinas as people who just know how to do it. Which of course makes no sense - they constantly need to train, they need to rehearse, to learn new things all the time just like every other professional. This way really a great eye-opening video.

They were trying to make the faux performance more theatrical. Otherwise it was just her in the same studio with nothing to distinguish it. As someone who has performed this before, I can attest that it is very hard. I was a soloist for 10 years in a company. I would say this dance is one of the hardest to learn.

You'd have the legs if you were a ballerina. They earn them! It takes a ton if strength to lift your leg that high.

@@virginiaviola5097 ah I used to really like ballet apparently I kept asking my parents to sign me up so at 3 i started but after i just didnt know why i did it anymore and i wasnt good at it so i just stopped. My ballet teacher thought it was a waste to stop since she said that I have a good body for ballet but my parents always told me that I looked like a clown and I couldn't really remember what I learnt in school and on my own time, I even more couldnt remember my steps for ballet but I've got to admit it was a great experience
