VIDEO #53 ATMOSVERSE NOTES - Angelica, the Eighties Heroine, will remain unnamed on-screen until Video #81 (Hair Salon) - The videogame that Angelica and Anton are playing features Aries and Ronnie as the player characters, and the items they are collecting are the ones they retrieved from the canister in Video #18 (Key Paradox) - The sorceress Astarah glimpsed Angelica preparing for this ballet class as she sailed through a corridor of memories in Video #50 (Potions) - Lady Anna also practised ballet in her youth, as she told the POV Character in Video #16 (At the Royal Ball) - Angelica had her unsuccessful conversation with Professor Lamari at the Halloween party during Video #39 (80s Partying); Lamari told her to attend this audition room - Angelica has been trying to get the professor to supervise their psychology project since Video #21 (Classroom) - The prisms look like Capacidian stones; in Video #35 (Magic Lessons) the Djinn told Amanita that they were magical energy vessels capable of storing and transforming power. - This is the second time that the POV Character finds themselves mysteriously transported to El-Rah after falling asleep, having done so at the end of Video #21 - In Video #45 (Relaxing Ambush) the Agent talked about the 'Medieval method' of dive travel, which works through dreams rather than technology

It's like getting flashes of the small moments of someone's life. So dreamlike. The CG forest being so lifelike but not quite, makes it feel like a strange non-reality. Also wanted to point out that at 29:50 the sound changes when she goes over the bridge. That's detail!

I thought the forest was real. Only about halfway through did I finally realize it was CG. And I went to school for this! You had me fooled Ana! The lighting was so perfect, I fell for it, hook, line and sinker.

As someone who played violin, I love the smell of rosin. Funny enough, my friend's uncle used to make Rosin from the sap that oozed out of the mesquite trees that littered his backyard. He'd cut wood to roast corn and sometimes gave us the sap to chew on. It was sweet and sticky, like a hard candy. The mesquite trees in my family's yard also produced sap, but we never collected it- just peeled it off and would chew on it from time to time. :3 This video just made me recall some nice childhood memory. Thank you for sharing!

One aspect I love about these videos is that the dialogue is so natural and real. When she said ‘I don’t understand why I always fail’ I almost responded ‘It’s ok, you can try again.’ to a phone screen. The characters in these immersive worlds seem like real people.

I'm turning 40 in one week. today is the first time I learned that ballet dancers use rosin on their pointe shoes. you really do never stop learning new stuff.
@breakingpointe727
@breakingpointe727 2 жыл бұрын
Indeed they do, although it depends on the flooring. If you are dancing on wooden floors, they tend to be slippery, so rosin is used to make shoes grippier. I know schools such as the Vaganova used to watering cans to sprinkle the floors with water to also make them less slippery. You can see the water marks if you watch old Vaganova exam videos. This was before they started to use more modern flooring like the studio I dance at, which is a sort of rubbery linoleum floor that is grippy so there is no need for rosin.

@Shana Salt I’ve also heard that you can use a bottle of coke in a pinch! Dump it on the floor and when it dries the floor will be sticky. Just don’t use it WITH rosin or else you’ll get stuck 😂

I'm really happy you captured the soothingness of watching someone prepare pointe shoes. As a former dancer who never reached pointe level, I remember how relaxing it was for me and the other dancers to watch the pointe dancers annoyedly prep their shoes while we were in awe of an experience we could only dream to achieve. I love the methodology behind prepping a pointe shoe as well, the pointe dancers always looked like scientists in the studio, prepping their shoes. I'm excited to see where the forest takes us! :D

What kind of magical ride is this? From a scruffy-bearded Atmosphere to a tranquil walk in the woods? I’m relatively new to this channel, so forgive me, but I find myself continually intrigued and pleasantly surprised here. This is ASMR and KZfaq at it’s best I think. I can’t imagine the amount of work, and love for the work, that must happen. I love and follow many ASMRtists, who do a variety of work, all fantastic, but the cinematic channels out there (Atmosphere, Atlas, Moonlight Cottage, and others) deserve a special honor.

ah shit I thought I was the only one! I quit about 5 years ago now because I wasn't good enough to go pro and my original teacher had left. It took a while before I was able to watch and enjoy it as an outsider because although I'd chosen to leave I really missed that feeling of movement and of letting go. I haven't done any sort of dancing in years and I miss it terribly, but watching other people do it now usually scratches that itch. (and then I took up kickboxing and sometimes that's enough like dancing, too.)

Wow! My mind is blown! You are one heck of a creative person! This is amazing. I grew up in the 1980s. This looks just like a fever dream I had of an after-school special. (And I mean that in the best, complimentary way!) You are extra cool in my book!

Oh lord Anton and Angelica were playing Aries stories with her robot and the flower, the camera everything they have found in the box I just can’t wait to understand everything your videos are a huge masterpiece! And also the fact that at the end we are what lady Anna saw in the forest right ? Or at least at the same place!

How you've interwoven your story reminds of some ARGs. You'd make amazing ARGs, especially since your asmr already has a touch of that uncanny valley feeling. It's super cool!

Great video as always! I have a question. Was that you playing the two background characters during the Pointe Shoes Prep? Because if so that is some otherworldly (pun intended) attention to detail and commitment. Thank you for the extraordinary amount of work that you do for these videos.

I'm completely mindblown. Every single sequence is extraordinarily well done and relaxing. I'm STUNNED by the CGI forest, I couldn't tell at first if it was real or not. It was the most relaxing part for me, I just want to wander in that forest for hours.
