I actually saw this type of tree at Walmart about 8 years ago, I had to touch it to see if it was real, they are so beautiful. My daughter in law bought one about 5 years ago, and it’s my favorite tree ever.

@@limbidelpino323 like the sentiment, but real trees are probably better for the planet considering almost all real Christmas trees sold are grown specifically for that purpose vs. throwing a fake tree in a landfill when it’s replaced.

Thank you so much for this video. I loved the tree before I saw this set-up, getting into the detail really has helped me make up my mind. It so reminded me of my trip to Austria and Vienna for the Christmas markets. Real trees were everywhere that looked just like this.

TIP……….Always put a piece of collapsed cardboard under the tree stand before you put the tree together. It allows for easily sliding the tree out from the wall to fluff the branches, as well as decorating the tree, and then sliding it back near the wall where you want it. Once you add a tree skirt you won’t see the cardboard. 😊 🌲

I needed this yesterday setting mine up! I put it all together and fluffed and then I couldn’t move it, so I had to take the top two sections off to move it.

Balsam Hill has some of the most realistic looking artificial Christmas trees I've seen. Nice that they provide gloves. I always wore long sleeves when fluffing trees because of the scratches.

I'm looking outside my window at five real Christmas trees. And they have the same shape as the artificial one. Top third much thinner than bottom section. So wow 😍 very realistic looking for sure. Can't wait for you to decorate it ☺️.

I love this tree, thank you for sending me the link in the other video comment I made. I am seriously thinking about buying it. Our tree and house are decorated now, and I know my wife will throw a fit if I buy it now. Hopefully Balsam Hill will have an after Christmas sale and I will get it then. But not a prelit because my current tree is, well was a prelit tree and I couldn't ever find the burned out or missing bulbs that caused a couple of sections to not light. I spent hours this year looking and then cutting out all the lights and cords. My arms look like I had a fight with my cat LOL. Anyway, again I thank you for the link to this video. I guess I missed it last year. Have a very Merry Christmas, my KZfaq friend.

Growing up in lower Michigan we always had a Scotch Pine Christmas tree, full and lush. The best part for me was we most often did the choosing on or near my birthday in early December. To this day, they are my favorite tree for Christmas but as a New Englander for a good part of my life, they haven’t been easy to find. Age has moved me into faux trees with obvious advantages but I will ALWAYS find the most joy in a Scotch Pine! As you have always done Christopher, you made this realistic tree look fabulous!

That’s a great looking tree, we bought Balsam Hill last year and it was the best thing we did to tell you the truth. The top of the tree is made a bit sparse on purpose, I believe, because it looks much more natural that way. To tell you the truth, if you didn’t tell anyone that it’s a fake tree I doubt they’d notice unless on close inspection.

I remember when you unboxed a frasier fir for Balsam Hill a couple of years ago and it was gorgeous, and this European fir tree is just as beautiful Chris!! I love your videos and your home is so nostalgic and gorgeous, love the dark blue walls. The popcorn garland with cranberries so gorgeous, and the oranges slices just brought it all together. Thanks for the video it really got me in the Christmas spirit remembering the birth of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ!! I am so eagerly awaiting your Christmas home tour for 2021!! that tree is so gorgeous..i know I've given them grief before about being overpriced but I'd pay for that tree because Christmas is my favorite and I put up my tree and decore first of November. So it's worth the money to me because it's out for 3 whole months.

The first of November in my country it's considered bad luck to put your tree up until the second weekend in December don't you get fed up with the tree and is the holiday made to feel so long away in November

It is a beautiful tree. I purchased a Balsam Hill 7 1/2' narrow Norway Spruce with Candlelight Clear lights late last year and never displayed the tree. I will be decorating the tree this year. Thank you for sharing.

I bought a European Fir a few years ago from Balsam Hill and it really is nice for an artificial tree. Mine is the smaller 5'6" version though.

Go get you a rolling stand for your European fir. I bought this tree too and using the roller makes it easier to fluff and put lights on your tree. And place it exactly where you want it.

Great job (explanation/lighting/audio/etc...) and such a lovely tree. I perfer the real thing myself, but even I have to admit this tree is absolutely STUNNING! 😍
