Where I live in California, We depend on San Francisco bridge or the Richmond bay bridge. This is definitely a catastrophic for everyone in Baltimore. Just scary and sad situation 😮😢

The ship suffered a power failure from videos i have seen online at least twice, why we dont know yet but most likely loss steering, when the power returns the first time full astern is given with a big cloud of black smoke but ships take a long time to come to a stop and without a tug assisting sadly it was too late

You ask the right quesrions. By now they should know how many people are in the vehicles. And their condition. Notifying theeor loved ones. And start clearing the waters to pul the people and cara out.

It hit a support pillar causing the collapse, not the actual deck/roadway.

It’s a major port. Cargo ships go under it every day and it’s more than tall enough and it was designed for that. But it hit a support and it caused a section of the bridge to collapse.
