Is there anyway you can post the most recent National Championship win that Bama had against Ohio State? I was traveling during the game & got to see some of it on my phone app. And so far I've only been able to find highlights but not the whole game. Florida State football has been falling ever since Bobby Bowden was done. I've never been a big fan of Florida State but Bobby Bowden was a damn good coach & led a damn good program!! Too bad his sons weren't any good at coaching. But if they had chosen better schools to try to build a program they may have done better too. But considering where Florida State is located, there is a major wealth of talented young athletes in the south. So if they get a halfway decent head coach, one that knows how to hire good coordinators & good assistant coaches. And how to motivate these young athletes into working hard enough to compete against Clemson. Cuz let's face it, Clemson has owned the ACC for almost a decade. Or well, ever since Mr Dabo Swinney found Deshaun Watson & won a Championship. And because of that he's been able to recruit as well as Bama. And no one else in the ACC has that. And the thing about Clemson is you never really know how good they are until they get in the play off cuz the ACC teams they beat are like playing Vanderbilt or Duke. Virginia Tech & Florida State is probably the only other good teams besides Clemson. Idk, maybe Syracuse too.

You'll notice that Saban loves having the neutral field opener. I think it's mainly because MOST of these games are in Atlanta where they hope to be playing for the SEC Championship in December.

One of the most awesome things about this game: Damien Harris, his biggest play of the game wasn't a big long run for a touchdown(although that first run for 35 yards was nice) but a blocked punt on special teams. That gave Bama a lot of momentum & after they scored a field goal from the blocked punt & kicked off, then they had the forced fumble on the kick off which led to a touchdown & that was the difference in the game. Plus Bama's defense held them scoreless in the 2nd half. Like Saban said, it was kind of an ugly win, but a win nonetheless. Florida State played a damn good ball game too. It was the turnovers that hurt them but the qb getting hurt was probably the worst for their season.

@@mikeschmidt4800 I'd argue the Oregon game was the beginning of the end. The 2015 and 2016 gave you some hope but after that Oregon game that still remains the most lopsided blow out of the playoffs, FSU never recovered, and FSU was essentially on borrowed time. Sure, in 2016 you had your most embarrassing game considering that Louisville beat you 62-20 but that Oregon game was when it all fell for FSU. The matter that Dabo has a immaculate record since 2015 against FSU, and both Manny Diaz and Dan Mullen have perfect records against FSU doesn't help either. I'm nowhere near as high on Mike Norvell as you are. I wouldn't even be surprised if both Florida and Miami surpass FSU's class by the end of the year. Until I see it, I won't believe it with FSU. Even Taggart had a better ACC record in his first year than Mike Norvell. Norvell was a few buttery fingers away from going 1-7 against the ACC. Not to mention that all the other losses were blow outs and in pretty much every other scenario, UNC would have also blown out FSU. A good coach that has superior talent does not get blown out by teams the likes of Louisville, Pittsburgh, or NC State.

As a FSU fan I will always hate this game. Mostly for the Francois injury and his subsequent decline to the complete mismanagement of the team by Jimbo Fisher in his latter years. Rarely does one game mark the end or beginning of something. By the time Jimbo threw out his Christmas tree and left I did not think things would get better. I feel sad for guys like Keith Gavin who came to FSU to play for Fisher and win a championship. Instead his talent was wasted. I will never watch this game as long as i live.

Once again against an elite defense Jalen Hurts looks like a deer caught in headlights. In the 3rd quarter Bama was 3-11 on 3rd down conversion. In the Auburn loss Bama was something like 2-11 on 3rd down conversion. One read run quarterback toward the sidelines. Why would you think Jalen Hurts will improve in 2018 when he had 2 years?
