i saw the other day they are making a 3rd winnie the pooh and they are supposed to be coming out with a Peter Pan one too i know they came out with a mary had a little lamb one some time last year and they are supposed to be coming out with Cinderella's revenge this month and some where in October they are coming out with curse of Cinderella idk but everyone seems to want to turn everything into a horror movie like they are turning spiderman into a horror movie so who knows what's next probably a horror movie about Aladdin or something

I'll tell you why this one looks like it should work. Because I would suspect that the people who made this movie are people who watched Bambi as kids and were scarred by the sad death scene. All the best parodies need to have an element of care for the source material, it's why people love Galaxy Quest and the Discworld books. The blood and honey movie, did not have that, and I can say that as a person who read the books before watching the movies. No I'm not over 80, why do you ask?

LOL The sad truth is (for reasons that this trailer *does not* explore and I doubt the movie will *at all),* there are *many* reasons we *should* be scared of deer! Deer literally have giant impalers on their heads (meant for *that* very purpose) and giant hard rock-like weapons on their feet (also for that very purpose), you can't outrun them (an *average* deer can run 35-40 mph! Even Usain Bolt's *top* speed was not even 28 mph!), and if you get "too close" (literally within 50 yards) of one at the *wrong* specific point in time (i.e., during mating season), they *will* attack you! And it doesn't have to even be mating season because they're *already* terrified of humans and that level of anxiety can cause unpredictable behavior! And there are now so many that they're running out of places to live that they're now inhabiting human areas, and venturing into your own backyard or a nearby playground could spook them! The reality (that conservationists have warned us about) is that deer have been "over-cutified" in pop culture, and a movie that actually shows their *true* nature (and what happens when modern human behavior/structures disrespect that - i.e., I mentioned they're running out of places to live) would be quite interesting! But no, this movie appears uninterested in exploring *any* of that, just as the Pooh movie (which *claimed* these animal-like creatures "went feral" and returned to their "animalistic" tendencies) wasn't interested. In the first Pooh horror movie, *every* motivation and action was "human-like." They kidnap Christopher Robin and make him watch as they murder random people. And no, they don't eat any of these humans! They're clearly not in any way "terrified" of these people. Just to traumatize Christopher Robin for "revenge" for him "leaving." And no, for those wondering, no wild pig or bear acts like this! There is nothing "feral" about this behavior - this is a human behavior! It's sad! There's potential! But it's wasted on these lazy filmmakers!

Well these kids movie and tv characters turned horror have so far been possible mostly because they have gone into public domain. They did do a grinch movie which they got away with under parody and implying but never flat out saying it was The Grinch. But even a bad Clifford would require some money (the dog would have to be CGI or some kind of special effect) which would make it unlikely anyone would bother trying the parody route (most believe the Grinch movie never got challenged in part because it was so cheap no one saw it so wasn't worth bringing attention to and spending the money to sue). Spending even a few million to bring Cliffort to live in live action horror or not is probably not worth the risk. And he won't go into public domain until llike 2050 something. So wouldn't worry about that one.

Not that I have high hopes for the movie or was all giddy after the trailer. But what little they showed didn't look horrible. Sure once the movie comes out they won't dissapoint. I think in the hands of better movie makers a horror satire about Bambi going after the hunters COULD work. But this is in the hand of hack movie makers, so will take a miracle for the movie to actually be good. Give them credit though, they are clearly making the effort on these things to legit improve. It almost surely will not pan out, but doing better than I thought even if that was a low bar.
