Semi Final 1 of the Eurovision Song Contest happened yesterday and "Doomsday Blue" is the talk of the town. Do you think Bambie Thug can win this years Eurovision or will Ukraine be a too strong competitor?

Whether Ireland wins or not, I think it will be the one that will be remembered in years to come as breaking new ground and for the quality and artistry of the production

I don't want Bambie Thug to try anything that could result in penalties or disqualification and kill their chances in the competition. I just want this performance, done to perfection. That would be enough. Winning in itself would be the best protest and the best revenge.

I agree 100%. Ireland moves ESC. which is getting a bit old. Prepacked pop. The bawdy stadium sing along ( Croatia). I watch Euro to see something extraordinary. Ireland totally created a new iconic vision. I have been watching since 1966 ( yes I am that old) THIS is the most challenging song ever - Paul Oscar did it with Iceand years ago. I totally hope this wins....

So is this the order they’ll perform in for the final? Because if it is that early draw is a killer. People forget the early performances so quickly. I was praying for an end of evening placement for them. Never mind. Win or lose this is a phenomenal artistic achievement.

They've just assigned the running order slots and Ireland will perform 10th, so somewhere near the end of the first half. That's not too bad, but I don't even think it matters that much since voting will be open from the first performance. If you plan to vote for Ireland, you can do so as early as you like.

Thank you all for the great feedback on the video, I appreciate it a lot and hope you all will have a lovely Eurovision weekend. Just two things I wanna add about the video since I recorded it in the middle of the night after a hectic day. 1. I use the wrong pronouns for Bambie Thug 2 times during the video on accident and I’m sorry about that. 2. I no longer think it’s a good move to demonstrate for peace and risk disqualification during the show and instead just continue in the direction they are going with using their platform outside of Eurovision to spread their message of peace. The way they have brought this censorship from EBU to attention in the media is more powerful and noticed than if they were able to actually follow through with what was planned.
