Take a dozen tourists, a dash of salt, and a cup of roasted peanuts and you end up with one of the most interesting and enjoyable days I have had in Bali.
This cooking school in Sanur is amazing, the open-air classroom is a perfect setting for a very memorable day learning about local Balinese food and how to prepare some of their most iconic local dishes.

Thanks Muzza - after seeing this video i booked and went to this cooking school yesterday. It was fabulous! I esp loved walking around the market and learning all about the things there. Ive been to Bali, I don't know ? 25 times and i still learnt new things so well worth it. Cheers

My favourite Indonesian dish by far is Beef Rendang. I only had it once while I was there though. I've cooked it heaps though.

I went to that cooking class at end of August , and I highly recommend this experience. I am still cooking the food with the recipe book you get when leaving. Also Muzza next to the cooking pavilion is the infamous " Hidden Bar " with Ron the host . He is the one with the groovy Hawaaian shirt , and the beer is super cold. Go check it out mate, it will be right up your alley !! Cheers, Rolf

What a fantastic video, really enjoyed watching it. Irma and the ladies at the school are wonderful and the food is nothing short of sensational. Not forgetting the legend that is Mr Ron and the fantastic team at the Hidden Garden Bar of course, my favourite watering hole in Sanur. Cheers Muzza 🍻
