You can print more on banbu printer because you can use nearly the WHOLE plate. This can be understated because on aPrusa, Creality, Anycubic machines the further you get from the center of the machine the less they print. So we usually start worrying after 75-100 mm from center in any direction. So to get 185 out of a printer to 250mm without sweating is pretty awesome and not commented enough on.... Anyone can do a benchy. Try a corner to corner table top gaming layout like you are without warping......good stuff! thx

This is exactly what I’m going through right now. I realize that this machine is completely useable so it makes it about the same size as my 220mm cubed machine. I’m about to buy a second one while’s it’s on sale

I have tremors, so I was lucky to be able to press my selection on the display with or without a speedy response. I found it much easier to use a stylus (one of those rubber things on the end of a ball-point pen). It made it much easier for my shaky hands and I do believe it's more responsive. You might give it a try. Good video.

Yup I'm resin printing for few months now on AnyCubic photon mono X 6ks and just bought A1 mini too, seems like perfect supplement

Great review! I will try out the studio and see if it fits. I'm still leaning towards a regular A1 though, never really got to use it before it was sent back.

Its my first printer and I have been using it to print much needed terrain for my wargaming hobby. No longer need to play with a sparse green mat and just some small trees.

I received my A1 Mini a week ago - and this is my very first 3D printer! Still 'playing' with it at the moment, but will eventually start to try finding stuff for model railways! It is a great little printer though!

I purchased the A- Mini just before the bigger A-1 was released. I like the A-1 Mini very much, but I wished I had waited for the larger A-1.

What print speed settings do you use, i downloaded bambu studio and added a stl to check speed and it was a lot slower tha the printer i use know. I used prussia slicer and kobra 2 printer. As was looking to buying this printer or the flashforge 5m printer humming and arring between the two.

Have you tried any minis on this at all? I know resin is way better I just can't be asked with all the mess and hassle. I will mainly be printing terrain plus WW2 1:1800 ships. Despite the STLs being designed for FDM I'm a bit worried about the lines.

Any idea if I happen to order the regular A1 right now, will it arrive with a fixed power cable? Would get the A1 mini but I'm starting to worry about the size of the print bed being too small for my needs (modded parts for PC cases in addition to wargaming terrain).

Pretty sure they just announced the new one is shipping in may, so ordering now would be the new model.

@@GrayScalpMiniatures well, since i'm not printing very large items, I don't mind using a lot of supports and taking a lot of time. I just want bottom surfaces (large curved supported ones) to look nice. It seems like I'm just not getting a broad enough area supported. I want supports to wrap around curves but they're not really doing it. And if you had any tips on making the most of an AMS and support interface filament (PETG for PLA or vice versa) I'd be extremely grateful. So far my results have been underwhelming.

I've been torn about whether to get the A1 or A1 mini. I'm leaning towards the mini. I have an Ender 3 that I dont enjoy because of the speed and quality, so the ease of use and speed of the Bambu line sound amazing. With the mini being $250 it seems like a no-brainer. I'm only unsure about the print size.

@crackhead2able nope :( Severe analysis paralysis. There's a MicroCenter near me, so now I'm wondering if I should just get their no interest for 24 months credit card and go for the P1S.

One of the issues I have with my Neptune 2s and 3 is first layer adhesion. I don’t why, I have adjusted it up and down and unless I use water washable school glue sticks I have repeated fails. How does this one do if I may ask? (look, viewer engagement!😉)
@dab34rs

I have the A1 Mini...I think I've had 2 prints where the first layer had an issue. But washing with hot water and some Dawn dish soap fixed the issue with no glue needed. In between prints, I use 99% isopropyl alcohol and a microfiber towel to "wash" the bed. Bed adhesion has been great!

Go to filament properties and increase flow by 0.05, or0.1. Problem with adhesion solved. Also, I hope you manually reduce initial layer print speed, down to 30mm/s

Is there any know health hazards due to the micro filament particles from 3d printing that can go to your lungs and get people sick ? i want to buy a A1 to print as my first 3d printer to play with my 12y old son that is really sensitive to particles in the air , allergens and chemical vapors. I appreciate any comment. thanks

I wish I had started 3d printing a little while ago when I bought the a1 mini instead of 2 years ago with an ender 3 neo. I have printed more with the mini in a month an a whole YEAR with the ender 3 neo because the Bambu Labs printer just..... works. It just works. It prints. You want a thing and it makes the thing. Gone are the days of tinkering after every print. Bambu Labs is to 3d printing as apple is to phones.
