Honestly ive watched 1000s of how to videos and never sat and watched them all the way because they either was going way too fast or was skipping vital information. I actually sat and watched every bit and followed it and was able to figure out how to get my first ever print going. Good work

Pro Tip: If you put these chapters in the description instead of a comment, it'll chunk up the timeline so we can see and click them directly in the video playbar. Just makes for better user experience. ;) That said - any chance you could share where you found that koopa shell stl!? :)

As a retired teacher, your videos are outstanding and very project based. I got my P1S setup, printed a benchy with supplied filament. Now I am loading the AMS with Tough PLA to print a couple of parts with just one filament. I subscribed & can't wait to view your other videos.

Ok so I finally did it, I stop researching and I picked one. The Bambu Lab A1 mini. It was a small home based business decision, after buying it I found your video's. I have spent an entire day napping on and off listening to others video's. Thank you for creating a video with feeling in your voice and that doesn't put me to sleep. Not to mention, I'm that need to learn everything I can and be able to do it all and adjust everything personally. I will be creating my own items, this isn't a buy and just print what others have created tool. This is for me to bring what's in my head to life. Again thank you! I look forward to watching more. But for now, I need to go learn my program inside and out.

I am getting back into 3d printing after many months of not using it and I am floored with the new version of Bambu Studio. When I started back into printing I had the older version of Bambu Studio and was trying to get the settings right for pETG prints of a hydroponic planing tower and was having many things go wrong. I couldn't get the settings to always work. I then decided to go hunting for a newer version of the Bambu Studio and was so happy to see that Bambu Labs had put the time and effort to create presets that just work as you said. My printing of PETG is back to normal and everything is running great. I am so glad that I am back into my iambu X1 Carbon and glad that I came across your videos. Great job explaining and providing us with so much information. Thank you! I want to also thank Bambu Labs for creating and supporting such.a great product in the X1 carbon..

@@BashkimUkshini it’s been going great! Honestly I don’t have a ton of tips as the printer just works. The only thing id mention is the AMS works but tends to have alot of issues pulling the filament back when completed for a multitude of reasons so just be prepared. It’s easy enough to pull the filament out manually to fix the error. These videos are a great resource though if youre looking to learn a bit more about the slicer. Congrats and happy printing!

Never heard of Orthographic until this video, I always learned Orthogonal doing technical drawing or with Solidworks etc.
@colemangreen4191
@colemangreen4191 5 ай бұрын
I think orthogonal is a specific view - perpendicular to some plane (side, top etc). Orthographic in these softwares usually is an option for determining if depth is captured in how it display the part. In contrast with perspective. So I do think Bambu gets it a little wrong or confusing in Studio. In Solidworks you can turn on perspective mode but it’s not default since it can be very deceptive (like he demonstrates) if you don’t know it’s on. Also you can show an orthogonal view in perspective mode, if that makes sense.

Only was able to get it to make maybe 3 things and they weren't that good. even with the auto bed leveling i bought for it it still just wouldn't print. So we sold it and got the bambu mini and my god i love it. And the app is really good as well. I think I'm sticking with bambu from now on.

WOW, just the video series I need...I just bought the Bambu Labs X1-Carbon 3D printer with the AMS during their Black Friday sale. I have only printed 2 files (included with the X1-carbon) - the Benchy and the Bambu Scraper. And, now I want to get some of my own stuff designed and printed. This is only my second 3D printer, the first being a FlashForge Creator Pro (2017) and I hardly used that machine because there wasn't very much tutorial type info out there. And, that manual bed leveling was crazy !! Thanks so much and I am now a subscriber. Charlie in Central Ohio

Great vids you put out! I've been planning to get the Bambulabs X1 for some time now, so thanks for these very helpful videos. They really helped me make the right decision, and prepare me me for what's coming at me. I'm fairly new to this 3D game. I only started dabbling in Fusion 360 a year ago, and now I think I'm ready to get my own printer. Keep the vids coming!

Glad you like them! I really don’t think you can go wrong with a Bambu printer they are really user friendly and good machines.

Love your tutorials, very helpful. Perhaps you can help me with a dilemma I’m having…..I have the P1S and I’ve been trying to print with PC and ASA and all I get is one failure after another, it seems like no layer adhesion no matter how much I tweak the settings. Funny thing is I’ve had no problem printing with these filaments on my AnkerMake M5C.

Took me a min to get over the glasses, mustache and rambling. I turned the speed up to 2.5 and it was manageable.

8:00 "Orthographic projection is a type of 'parallel' projection in which the four orthogonal views of an object are shown." So orthogonal view in this case is the right term .

Brilliant Video. Dark mode looks like it's disappeared in ver 1.9.2 Linux appimage. Unless it was never there on this version

Thanks for your video! I am going to watch more of them. I just started printing my self-designed model one week ago with a P1P, but since I am new to 3D printing, I was wondering what all those settings are about. I still got it printed, but at a certain point I would like to have more control over quality, speed, etc.
