As a 67 year old heavy metal fan, this band rocks!!! I'm glad I found this!

あらためて思う、みんちょは天才だ。

It was a 'Puzzle' but 'Alone' I was able to 'Decide By Myself' that the 'Price of Pride' was an 'Awkward' acknowledgment that 'Daydreaming' of playing music at winter outdoors, was like a 'Freezer' for my 'OOPArts'. Fellow fans, 'Don't Let Me Down', just let me say 'Bye My Tears' of joy before I finish the concert. Great set.

I'm seeing them live for the 2nd time in Houston this coming May 2023. Saw them last October in Dallas, best best best concert in my 60 years on this planet. Not only are they incredible musicians but they are just lovely human beings. So polite, charming, demure, and then they melt your face off with their performance! Oh I love them so much. And even more, they love the fans as much as the fans love them. So obvious.

Miku has become a badass rythum guitar player and singing while she jams sincere thanks to her for her desire to put this badass group together. Would like to see them in concert.

As this is 5 years old...what would be the choices now?..A lot more great tracks have been produced by these ladies...it's hard to say one is better than another...As they only produce "Greatest Hits"..Long May They Reign!👑

I'm an old school ROCK guy. I admit to have been a chauvinist when it comes to women in music. Don't get me wrong, I love many women that are in music but I never thought an entire group of women could play music on par with male bands. Janis, Aretha, Joan Jett just to name a few are all wonderful and some of my all time favorites but they're either backed by male performers or more "solo" than group. I grew up on VH ( Dave ), AC/DC, RUSH and SRV. My views changed about 4 years ago when I first saw/ heard a live version of Play on YT. At first I thought it had to be fake. That's how awesome it was. I couldn't believe women, let alone petite Japanese women, could make these types of sounds. I was 100% completely blown away and it hasn't stopped yet. BAND-MAID is 75% + of the music I listen to on a daily basis and now that they write their own music and Miku is actually playing guitar, it's even BETTER. Songwriting, talent, work ethic and stage presence is off the charts with these ladies. 🥁🎸🤘🔥🍻🗾🎌🧡💚💛

My musical interests ranged far beyond rock with most emphasis on opera over the past years. Band Maid, discovered by accident, changed that in an instant and I recognised that Kanami's writing goes way beyond rock. She composes complex melodic music with very clever hooks, bridges etc. I firmly believe they will develop much further but always retain the tight super professional approach. Her playing too is way beyond what most lead guitarists do. She is constantly adding to the overall sound, riff after riff. What a musician. I firmly believe she will emerge as one of the greats. And chapeau to all band members - just the best and unmatched anywhere. I can and do often listen them all day.

You can leave off the (J-Rock) part, just best band ever.

So much to praise about this group... But some things just shine so brightly as to be blinding! No drummer, ANYWHERE, at any time in my memory which goes back to the 60's, gets more out of a 5 piece kit than Akane Hirose... NOBODY!!!

Playing "Freezer over and over. Band Maid is the BEST modern rock band, bar none.

For some good girl bands like Aldious, Scandal, Lovebytes,... they have some good songs and amazing talent. But for Band-Maid, i can do nothing but smile and headbang whenever i listen to them. Band-Maid have so much catchy and high level songs, and i'm sure they will blow everyone's mind in first time listening to them, their music is something out of Japan and you will never find a bad song from them!!

I never paid too much attention to Decided By Myself and now I can't get over that pre-chorus! Their songs certainly grow on you if you give them the time, Kanami's compositions are guilty of that. The only problem with a so damn good band with so many damn good songs is that a bunch of amazing tunes will go under the radar. Always rediscovering my love for this band everyday 🤘🕊️

I really love these pre chorus vocals besides the obvious... the fucking best band on this planet will always make such great songs... ever and ever.

This band has so much top shelf material its amazing and every song has so much in it you just cant grasp all ...the more i get into them the more i appreciate the quality and craftsmanship...plus they have killer choruses ...

Truly incredible levels of talent they all have. I am just blown away every time I hear them.

I first heard of this band today. I was exchanging comments with someone on a video about food, and he mentioned them and how good they were. I listened to Daydreaming, which was good, and then this. I'm very impressed. They are very slick. Good tunes, great musicianship and excellent production. The drummer is especially impressive to me. In the Daydreaming video, it looked as if she had a starter drum kit. If that's all she uses, she makes good use of it. I've just got to Freezer. Wow.

Almost greatest hits are good enough for me. These ladies are amazing and keep getting better. Daydreaming and about Us are two of the best songs I’ve ever heard.

These girls are BETTER Musicians than 90% of Professional Recording Male Bands in America, Europe or Asia. As Metal or Hard Rock, very few other bands are better. I especially dig that this is an all female band and that you can easily see they "FEEL" the music they write and play. The "cherry" on the top is that Saiki Atsumi is so damn hot looking (please get teeth braces), and Miku Kobato is gorgeous too.. All the "Maids" are great to look at and dream about, as well as listen to. One more thing, MISA is an incredible bass player, just need to lay off the booze.

I love band maid... seen them 4 times. Twice in New York and Twice in Japan and I have a ton of merchandise and music sets..... but Im really starting to hate the posts surrounding them. The level of simping is reaching stupid levels.

Of all-male or Coed bands, there are these stellar bands among many: Loudness, Anthem, EZO, Saber Tiger, Terra Rosa, Concerto Moon, Mardelas, Sin Isomer, Unlucky Morpheus, Ark Storm, Galneryus, Minstrelix, Cross Vein, Iron Attack!, Rondonrats, Octaviagrace, Bow Wow / Vow Wow, XJapan Of all-female bands, there are these stellar bands among many: Show-Ya, Destrose (2013 line-up), Lovebites, Aldious, Bridear, TRiDENT, Hagane, Nemophila, Mary's Blood, Anarchy Stone, Shishamo, Band-Maid are a fun band. They had a lot of help in their early career, in effect, being a cover band, having covered the songs of other song writers until their first song, "Alone." They did not become a band recording their own songs almost fully until their sixth LP, "Conqueror." Even their two previous efforts, "Just Bring It" and "World Domination" contained a fair number of covers.
