Easily my favorite BAND-MAID song ever. I memorized the lyrics, haha. Super high energy. Amazing chorus. Yes, their music is always happy and fun to hear. You should check out one of their ballads though. I recommend "Daydreaming" and "Endless Story". Both are beautiful ballads. The music video for "Endless Story" is also really pretty.

Just finished watching all your previous Band-Maid reactions. They are an amazing group. I agree that they have that sound of 80's rock which what attracted me to their music. But also they do bring their own style. They are bringing back the old fun rock and roll! You really should continue to watch their Live videos. The MV are good as well. Heck there is no bad Band-Maid music in my book and I've listened to their entire Discography. But they are so talented and great performer that the Live shows is where they truly shine. I suggest watching any of the other Live versions on their channel like "Play", "Freedom", "Cross", "Choose Me". There are plenty more floating out there that are not official but from their Live DVD sets. I especially like the song "Puzzle, the regular Live version and Acoustic version. I've subbed and looking for more reactions, especially Band-Maid 🙂

If you are interested in female rock bands in Japan like BandMaid, check LoveBites. This band is characterized by very good performance of speed metal and by twin lead guitars. It has many good songs , for example "Holy War" ,"When Destines Align" ,"Swan song","ShadowMaker".... the skills of two lead-guitarists are as well as Kanami who is a guitarist of BandMaid.

I really enjoy your reactions. I love Band Maid, Nightwish and Diana Ankudinova. Speaking of Diana, she has a new video out called "Into the Skies." You need to react. You'll love it.

You can certainly do live versions and official videos for most of their songs. I love Dice, Domination, Play, Don't You Tell Me, Choose Me, and Don't Let Me Down. I can't think of a bad song by them at all. On a side note, I really hope you will continue on and try out some Babymetal. Many of the fans of Band-Maid are also fans of Babymetal. I actually found Babymetal that led me to Band-Maid, and I am forever grateful for that. I adore them both. I am an OG, old school rock/metal, truck driver in the US, and these bands have captivated me for the past two years. Thanks for the reaction videos, keep them coming. :)

I think I finally got it figured out. The reason a lot of reactors say Band Maid plays "pop rock" is because of the female vocals. With most Band Maid songs having a heavy enough accompaniment, it's Saiki's "happy" singing that's throwing them off and making them think that it's pop rock, since after all, Saiki doesn't scream or growl much. These people have such a narrow-minded view of rock that anything that's not "angry" or "screamy" or "growly" is automatically branded as "pop rock".
