I can totally relate, Daydreaming is probably the one B-M track that will bring a tear to my eye. This track is gorgeous.

The bridge leading into the solo sounds like a lament for a lost love followed by a scream of pain and longing being the solo. And you aren't the only person who tears up when they hear this song.

between Miku and Kanami - those are two super sensitive artists (lyricist & musician). You have them to thank largely for the emotion the songs seem to consistently evoke. The band is a fantastic blend courageous evolution and humble artistry.

KANAMI can play emotional guitar expressing your painful memory's rising. And, I think AKANE's drumming is just like heart beat. MISA's base is jazzy. And SAIKI and MIKU sing soulfully.

Prior to “about us”, In my opinion this was their most emotional and best ballad. I’m still on the fence but they are both equal to me. The song Iyrics I recall are actually quite sad so they were able to move you the way they wanted with their music :)

Yes, Saiki lets herself FEEL the lyrics and the music, so we can too. One of the things that makes her the perfect frontwoman for this wonderful group of artists. And I appreciate your feeling the emotion they all pour into this, through their instruments as well as vocals. You get them, instinctively, and that is so cool!

The best rock ballad since Evanescence - My Immortal. This is my personal fav BAND-MAID track. It's touches my soul and brings me joy...yet makes me sob everytime I hear it...Because I daydream about my partner who I lost to cancer in 2017. I think of her everyday..and wish she was here to share the joy this band gives. I know she would of loved them just as much as me...BAND-MAID are helping me keep it together now I'm alone.

That what Band-Maid's music do to you, they are great at communicating feelings even when the listener do not understand Japanese. The feelings are intrinsic to everything they do, from lyrics to the music, Saiki's singing and voice is out of this world beautiful, Miku's voice fits beautifully with Saiki's.

This is one of the most beautiful songs out there, for me... and definitely that guitar solo is heart-piercing... I'm always recommending "Daydreaming" , even for those who like the heavier side of Band-Maid because this song is just too good to be "left for later"... In a similar kind of feeling, you should also do a "double-reaction" to a monumental emotional live moment that is "Puzzle" & "Anemone" acoustic with Kanami (on acoustic guitar and the sweetest, most beautiful backing vocals) and Saiki being phenomenal... just the two, it's just ...just... goose-bump material... ( this double treat is hard to come by... it's been taken out from KZfaq some time ago, I dunno if someone else has re-uploaded it cos I keep seeing here and there some reactions to it... would be great if the two were still findable ... and specially keeping the small talk between Kanami (again, what a sweet voice), Saiki and the audience... it's magical, please don't miss it, even if you don't react to it, don't miss that moment)

That guitar solo is the definition of pouring one’s heart out through their instruments, it’s truly beautiful. I hope Kanami rewrites a newer version of this, with a piano accompaniment and maybe a whole orchestra backing them. It’d be epic live.

Still my personal favourite! I agree with the previous speakers that this song, along with the new 'About Us', are probably their most emotional songs. And I think you're right, even though Saiki has a big part in it, the emotions can be felt from the instruments alone. As far as I know, 'Daydreaming' is still Kanami's favourite and most personal song. She's an incredible songwriter and even though I've never met her, I'm sure she's also a wonderful and kind-hearted person. When you can do so, I'd recommend getting a good set of over-ear headphones. Band-Maid puts so very much into their music, you'll want to hear it all, and earbuds only do so much IMHO. It is great how you felt their emotional expression. You have not only discovered Saiki, queen of Japanese soul, you feel the feelings through the instruments too. So - you don't need to worry whether it makes sense or whether we understand. Your feeling you get from the music is enough, and you are "getting" their music just fine! This is a very wistful song. She (the singer as the protagonist) had thought they were over but maybe they're not. Maybe only a hope. Saiki pours feelings here. Beautiful and heartrending. One thing you might have look out for: The company that holds their song copyrights is intense about reactions not playing the song straight through. They might not bother you now, but as your channel gains viewers they may file for KZfaq to block the video (other companies also do this). So as much as I hate to say it, as you become more popular it might be necessary to pause the MV several times while you make comments in future, to avoid that. You're not the first person to not be able to English after hearing Band-Maid, I doubt you'll be the last. I honestly can't remember the last time a song made me swoon as hard as this song does. It's the perfect blend of dreamy etherealness, melancholy and hopelessnes. Who hasn't been unable to be with someone they love/in love with, for whatever reason and imagined them with you? Your next song should be the song by Band-Maid. Trust me you can't go wrong.

There are other bands who have members who may be as good as BAND-MAID technically. But BAND-MAID has the songs. They just don't have anyone who can write lyrics like Miku or music like Kanami. I listened again, and like especially two moments: when hear Kanami's guitar solo you say "that was so beautiful" many others review these same BM songs, but your reaction is the best as it is genuine; the other moment is when you talk about the beginning of the song and Saiki's emotion in her voice when she sing "feel my soul" and your heart was racing - all of that is wonderful. Suggest BM Secret MAIKO Lips they did two songs on April 1 2020 or 2019 where they pretended to be BAND MAIKO and the songs are in a more traditional Japanese style dress makeup instruments. I think the one I suggested is awesome, but they can do anything really well.

Daydreaming is Kanami's favorite and mine too. A beautiful song with beautiful vocals from Saiki and Miku. Miku's backing vocal following Kanami's solo is just something else,something special. Its really priceless. Understand that emotion. I dont think anyone's normal if this song doesn't have impact listening to it. It's so much ying and yang that is Band Maid. The emotional vocals and the guitar solo. Kanami is a great composer and Miku's lyrics have so much meaning here especially when seen here. Only hope they tour again one day.
