Many of us saw Band-Maid play “From Now On” live. OMNG! Kanami riffed her ass off. The DB’s matched the BPM’s! So FROM NOW ON, Band-Maid will grow in popularity even faster as their awesome, sold out 10TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR wrapped up at Japan’s 17,000 seat Yokohama Arena on Nov. 26 and at Hong Kong. AND they’re writing and recording for their new album! The Maids are one of the hardest working super groups in the business! Their music, their sound, each of the Maids... and the love that permeates their live events is an experience not to be missed. Hope you can catch them LIVE! Thx, REn!

Few bands want to do instrumentals. Even fewer have the ability to perform instrumentals. Only one Band Maid ☝🏽

Saiki the lead singer has had throat surgery in the past so the band are very careful with her voice. They play 2+ hour sets so to give Saiki a break around mid-set they do three things. 1. Play an instrumental, 2. Miku (rhythm guitar) takes lead vocals for a song or two (she usually has one track per album where she is lead vocalist) and 3. Miku will do her legendary and hilarious "Magic Time" MC set. Then Saiki comes back on to finish the set. Even though Saiki no longer needs a break nowadays, it's become more of a tradition. So yeah, they have a number of really cool instrumental tracks. Check out the live MV of "Onset" for another instrumental banger!

Most bands that even do instrumental songs are doing a jam session with random segments of instruments just showing off. The difference with Band-Maid instrumentals are they are written purposely, composed and arranged from the get go as a instrumental just like a regular song, just without lyrics, (except Kanami is doing the singing on her PRS!). An exception to this formula is "Giovanni", a great song with lyrics, but when heard as a instrumental it almost seems like a different song, there is so much going on behind the vocals!

Band-Maid concerts or "servings" as the Maids call it are usually over 2 hours up to 3.4 hours long. the singer Saiki needs a break once in awhile so they do instrumentals or have Miku the other singer do some of her lead singer songs(she gets 1 song per album to sing lead)

*BAND MAID* have several instrumentals you can find. They all stand on their own 😀 🕊🕊🕊

Their instrumentals are some of the highlights of their library. Especially the live version of Onset and the "White Room" vids of Giovanni and Without Holding Back. All of them are AWESOME!! Thanks for the great reaction! 🤘🤩🤘

glad you liked this one, though it's very hard to go wrong with Band-Maid. They have a few instrumentals, acoustic, and rock covering many genres, so when people talk abut genre we just say the genre is Band-Maid lol Herman Li of Dragonforce is a fan and friend of the Maids, he did a live twitch stream interview and jam with the 2 guitarist . he posted edited versions of the interview on his yt page. funny stuff. I also asked him to do a reaction to this song and he was pretty blown away. it's on his YT if you want to check it out. oh yea sorry for requesting another video without captions ;) another fun fact about Band-Maid their YT page has over 200 million views and reactor channel views are over 40 million. not bad for a bunch of maids lol. cheers

@@powerdavid6235 Yeah i not long ago replied to Piri. Well holy crap, David, i was expecting something good after what you said but not to that level. Please tell your Grandson he has my utmost respect. Is it ok if i share it with my brother cos we're both huge earlier Metallica fans, i've only seen Iron Maiden live more but if B-M came over more often they'd already right up there with them :)

You can share his songs but not upload them anywhere on the internet. we have a worldwide block on his songs going mainstream.... David

It's rare seeing the girls without vocals involved, but it certainly highlights their skills on their instruments... I like it as a musician, but I get that some people don't like instrumental songs... David.

What instruments do you play?
@powerdavid623525 күн бұрын
@@GaryHolloway-810 I'm a bass player/keyboardist, been playing for decades. Not as good as my 11 year old grandson, he'd already released two albums by his 11th birthday... He's a child prodigy, writes. records, and produces, his own material.. he's working on his 3rd album now which should be released at the end of the year... Tim & Wyatt are big fans of his music.

@@powerdavid6235 How awesome. Kudos to anyone willing to put their time & effort into learning how to play instruments. But kids today, huh! Tch😒 🤣

@@GaryHolloway-810 At the weekend I sent Tim Micael's version of Metallica;s "Disposable heroes", where the kid plays every instrument on it, drums, bass, guitars, guitar solos.Tim thought it was the best cover version he'd ever heard. His biggest song in demand is still "Nothing else matters", which he sings lead vocals on, as well as playing all the instruments. with his high pitched voice he sounds like an angel singing it, which was the point. His new album will be a heavy metal concept album built around the movie "The Creator" which came out last year.. damn, when I was his age I was busting up telephone boxes..lol

@@powerdavid6235 Gosh. I've seen those O'keefe kids playing awesome covers of songs but then they're all individual instrumentalists, your son must be very talented if he can play all the instruments to a similar degree of skill for each instrument.😁👍
